  • Patent number: 9085217
Abstract: An aspirator is provided that includes a nozzle that aspirates secondary air; a main body that forms a scroll-shaped airflow path on the outer circumference of the nozzle; a primary-air inflow path that tangentially communicates with the airflow path; and a diffuser that is connected to an open end of the main body and has a throat portion at which a tip portion of the nozzle is disposed. An inner wall of the primary-air inflow path, which communicates with the scroll-shaped airflow path, is offset outward from the center of the nozzle, and primary air introduced from the primary-air inflow path flows into the scroll-shaped airflow path from one direction.

  • Publication number: 20120057993
Abstract: An object is to provide an aspirator capable of increasing the amount of aspirated secondary air and improving performance and to provide a vehicle air conditioner using the same. The aspirator includes a nozzle 15 that aspirates secondary air; a main body 17 that forms a scroll-shaped airflow path 16 on the outer circumference of the nozzle 15; a primary-air inflow path 18 that tangentially communicates with the airflow path 16; and a diffuser that is connected to an open end of the main body 17 and has a throat portion at which a tip portion of the nozzle 15 is disposed. An inner wall 18A of the primary-air inflow path 18, which communicates with the scroll-shaped airflow path 16, is offset outward from the center of the nozzle 15, and primary air introduced from the primary-air inflow path 18 flows into the scroll-shaped airflow path 16 from one direction.

  • Publication number: 20090229788
Abstract: An object is to provide a vehicle air conditioner that has increased heating ability and reduced noise by improving the heat-exchange efficiency of a heater core by improving an air inlet channel of the heater core and that suppresses stagnation and separation of an air flow at the air inlet channel. Provided is an air-mixing damper type vehicle air conditioner (1) including an air-mixing damper (6), wherein a heater-core inlet channel sidewall (2A) of a casing (2) from a sealing portion (11) of the casing (2) to an edge of a heater core (5) is an inclined surface (30), the sealing portion (11) being contacted by a tip portion (6C) of the air-mixing damper (6) when the inlet of a heating-side air channel (13) is completely closed, and wherein the inclined surface (30) is formed as a curved surface protruding toward the inlet channel of the heater core (5).
