  • Publication number: 20180039496
Abstract: A device generates an operating procedure manual for software including a captured image of a screen displayed by the software. An image acquiring hardware unit acquires a plurality of captured images of a plurality of screens displayed by software in response to a plurality of operations with respect to the software. A dividing hardware unit divides the plurality of captured images into a plurality of captured image groups, to each of which at least one captured image acquired in response to at least one operation constituting a meaningful chunk belongs. A generating hardware unit generates an operating procedure manual including, for each captured image group, a captured image belonging to that captured image group.

  • Publication number: 20180020331
Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes, by a first terminal device among a plurality of terminal devices in a vicinity of a user, receiving a frequency of coexistence from each of one or more second terminal devices among the plurality of terminal devices. The first terminal device and each of the second terminal devices each store a frequency of coexistence, wherein the frequency of coexistence shows a frequency that a terminal device which stores the frequency of coexistence and each of one or more other terminal devices coexisted in the vicinity at a predetermined location. The method further includes calculating a mean value of the frequencies of coexistence for each of the terminal devices which are not currently in the vicinity of the user, and, if the mean value is equal to or larger than a predetermined threshold, concluding that a terminal device is not in the vicinity of the user.

  • Patent number: 9405890
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, computer program product, and computer system for login on a wearable device. The method includes detecting one or more preregistered devices near a first wearable device. In response to determining that the detected one or more registered devices is greater than or equal to a predetermined number set forth in a simple password, the method requests the simple password from the user. If the correct simple password is entered, a first set of login information for the first wearable device is automatically inputted. The method may also include automatically inputting a second set of login information for one or more applications on the first wearable device.

  • Patent number: 9405390
Abstract: Embodiments relate to selecting an object to display from an information processing device connected in a manner enabling the exchange of data to a touch panel having a display function. An aspect includes entering a trajectory extension mode in response to the user moving a finger over the touch panel at a speed equal to or greater than a predetermined speed. Another aspect includes extending and displaying a trajectory of the finger in response to the speed of the moving finger detected in the trajectory extension mode. Yet another aspect includes placing an object located at an end point of the extended trajectory on the touch panel in a selected state.

  • Patent number: 9237136
Abstract: In a font applying device on a client side in a computer system composed of the client and a server, an obfuscated font storing section stores an obfuscated font in which a character different from a character identified by the server based on a character code and having the same width of the character identified by the server is mapped to the character code. An obfuscated document receiving section receives an obfuscated document obtained by obfuscating document data as a result of converting the character code to a character code to which a character identified by the server based on the character code in the document data is mapped in the obfuscated font. A deobfuscation processing section identifies the character mapped in the obfuscated font to a character code included in the obfuscated document, and a display control section controls the display of the character.

  • Publication number: 20140317491
Abstract: A document file is displayed on a display device. A first display unit, which is a unit in which the document file is displayed, is divided into a plurality of areas. From the plurality of areas obtained by dividing the first display unit, a first target area viewed by a viewer is identified. In response to the first target area being displayed on the display device shifting from the first display unit to a second display unit, a decision is made whether to use setting information from the display area when the first target area identified by the identification means is displayed, based on a structure of the first display unit and a structure of the second display unit.
