  • Patent number: 11010887
Abstract: A system for inspecting objects includes an imaging assembly, a detection module, an analysis module, and a memory. The imagining assembly can be a borescope that enters an unlit, closed conduit to inspect objects that are components of a turbine engine. Using an artificial light source to illuminate the conduit and one or more objects of the turbine engine, the borescope can obtain a video image of the one or more objects of the turbine engine. The video image can be used to determine a rank of distress for the one or more objects.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 17, 2018
Date of Patent: May 18, 2021
    Assignee: General Electric Company
Inventors: Aswini Kumar Jandhyala, Rajkumar Singha Konwar, Ashok Kumaraswamy, Manibabu Pippalla

  • Patent number: 10091102
Abstract: In one implementation, sub-interfaces are defined in Layer three (L3) tunnels, such as generic routing encapsulization (GRE) or Internet protocol security (IPsec) tunnels. Sub-interfaces inside a L3 tunnel may be preferred to using several L3 tunnels. The flow label of the tunnel header is used to define sub-interfaces of a tunnel interface. The flow label is populated with a routing instance identifier to index the sub-interfaces.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: October 2, 2018
    Assignee: Cisco Technology, Inc.
Inventors: Pascal Thubert, Michael Behringer, Aswini Kumar Sattaluri
  • Patent number: 10057139
Abstract: Maintaining a service on a cloud network may include receiving a set of status data associated with the service and performing a scale action on the cloud network based on a scale rule applied to the set of status data. The set of status data may be related to a set of resources utilized by the service, a performance level of the service, and a workload volume of the service. The scale rule may include a utilization condition, a quality condition, a workload condition, and a budget condition.

  • Publication number: 20150207703
Abstract: A system (100) includes a resource model (120) that includes application parameters (184) and computing resource parameters (194) that describe how an application and platform are implemented on cloud resources (110). A topology model (140) includes linkage structures (144) that link the application parameters (184) and the computing resource parameters (194) to describe a topology for the application and the platform on the cloud resources (110). A monitoring policy template (150) includes a policy (154) based on the linkage structures (144) in the topology model (140), wherein the policy (154) is to provide an abstracted specification to enable monitoring the topology for the application and the platform on the cloud resources (110).
