  • Patent number: 11021627
Abstract: Novel inkjet ink compositions for forming an image in a form of an elastic film attached to a surface of a stretchable and/or flexible substrate and processes utilizing same for inkjet printing color images on various substrates such as colored and absorptive or impregnable stretchable materials, which are characterized by heightened efficiency in process time, ink and energy consumption, as well as products having durable, wash-fast and abrasion-fast images printed thereon by the process, are disclosed. The novel ink compositions comprise a first part, which contains a property-adjusting agent and a carrier, and a second part which contains an emulsified property-sensitive proto-elastomeric film-forming agent, a colorant and a carrier, such that the second part congeals upon contact with the property-adjusting agent. The second part is digitally applied to the substrate less than 1 second following the application of the first part to the substrate.

  • Patent number: 11023291
Abstract: A system and method of supporting point-to-point synchronization among processes/nodes implementing different hardware barriers in a tuple space/coordinated namespace (CNS) extended memory storage architecture. The system-wide CNS provides an efficient means for storing data, communications, and coordination within applications and workflows implementing barriers in a multi-tier, multi-nodal tree hierarchy. The system provides a hardware accelerated mechanism to support barriers between the participating processes. Also architected is a tree structure for a barrier processing method where processes are mapped to nodes of a tree, e.g., a tree of degree k to provide an efficient way of scaling the number of processes in a tuple space/coordination namespace.

  • Patent number: 11025927
Abstract: A pixel pre-processing comprises subsampling a linear color in a first color space to obtain a subsampled linear color in the first color space. A first transfer function is applied to the subsampled linear color the first color space to obtain a subsampled non-linear color in the first color space. A first color transform is applied to the subsampled non-linear color in the first color space to obtain a subsampled first non-linear chroma component value and/or a subsampled second non-linear chroma component value in a second color space. A non-linear luma component value in the second color space is derived for the pixel, which together with the subsampled non-linear chroma component values represent a color the pixel. The pre-processing reduces chroma artifacts that may otherwise occur when chroma subsampling is performed following application of the first transfer function and the first color transform.
