  • Publication number: 20140230300
Abstract: This Safety Device, which is intended for the safety of children, private citizen and law enforcement personnel, is a retrofit able Trigger Guard Assembly, which is attached to any existing handgun or firearm under the muzzle in front of the trigger guard, to prevent accidental or unauthorized discharge. The mechanism operates on gravity and levers or certain electro-mechanical mechanism and sensors, extends guard plates on both side of the trigger assembly, thereby making the firearm inoperable. As the gun is pointed downward or the authorized hand is at certain distance from the handgun the retractable guards extends and the mechanism is locked. The lock is released only if the firearm is; leveled, or the bio metrics of the user is matched, or the authorized hand is at a certain distance from the handgun, or certain digital/mechanical combination entered, and matches the data in the memory of the assembly.

  • Publication number: 20140137455
Abstract: A retrofit able Trigger Guard assembly is the invented embodiment, which is attached permanently to an existing firearm or can be integrated to any firearm during manufacturing. This assembly is attached permanently under the muzzle of any firearm, typically a hand gun. In general, the invented mechanism operates under the force of gravity and certain relevant lever action extends guard plates on both side of the trigger assembly, thereby making it in operable. The guard plates are extended over the trigger guard of the firearm as soon as the gun is pointed downward. This mechanism is locked inside the assembly by an electrical miniature solenoid, which release the lock in order to facilitate the retraction only if the firearm is leveled and the bio metrics of the user matches the pre stored finger prints in the memory of the assembly, therefore, only authorized user can activate the trigger.

  • Publication number: 20130036861
Abstract: This invention is a Method and apparatus for converting centrifugal energy stored during normal rotation of a crank shaft or fly wheel, to a sudden angular acceleration, which is useful to attain sudden boost in speed, especially in high performance racing automotives. This phenomenon is achieved by converting centrifdgal energy stored in certain controlled floating weights inside tubular cavities machined into the arms of crank shaft or in the flywheels in such a manner that certain fluid pressure activated through controlled valves exerts pressure which moves the weights towards the center of the axis of rotation, thereby creating sudden angular acceleration of the crank shaft. This conversion of centrifugal energy, which is stored in certain elements during normal rotation of crank shaft or flywheel is harnessed when it is absolutely needed, such as during the end of a victory lap of a racing automotive.

  • Publication number: 20130040759
Abstract: This self correcting smart ball, typically a golf ball, overcomes certain sudden and unanticipated conditions or disturbance during play such as wind gust, drags, bump, debris, divides etc. during flight or roll on the surface (green), as faced by players, essentially taking the expertise out of the game and making the game more on a chance basis. This is achieved by separating the inner core, which absorbs the energy, momentum, direction and spins during the impact of ball and the club, and outer shell by a layer of fluid of certain viscosity, which act as an element to transfer energy, to and from the outer shell to the inner core, as needed, in order to perform what it is supposed to perform. This separation of the shell and core essentially immunes the ball from unanticipated disturbances thereby taking the uncertainty and chance out of the game.

  • Publication number: 20130028660
Abstract: This portable self adjusting modular levee system is ideal for protecting Nuclear Reactors, Cities close to sea level and adjacent to rivers of high and unpredictable cresting. The system consists of a base channel and a floater section fabricated or otherwise made with material such as steel, fiber, Aluminum or resin, harnesses the hydro-static pressure of the water, stabilizing the base and extending the floater assembly vertically to create adjustable levee of desired height in order to reach maximum cresting. Each modular unit is attached in a linear fashion to a complimentary unit at certain angle or straight at site in order to create a continuous sealed variable levee system of any desired length and configuration along river banks, high cresting and potential body of water. During normal conditions this levee system call be used as a road along such bank.

  • Publication number: 20040159494
Abstract: An automatic cable delivery system that can lower heavy weights from some heights with automatically controlled deceleration. This device is capable of sensing the amount of the load being lowered and therefore automatically adjust the resistance on a continuous basis thereby controls the descending speed to a desirable rate regardless of the weight. This automatic descending system is very useful during evacuation in case of emergency from high-rise building and similar structures. This unit is very portable and does not require any permanent fixture. This unit consists of a translucent clutch, hydraulic or mechanical, in conjunction with a unidirectional retractable cable spool coupled trough a planetary gear system. This unit is fitted with a retractor, which retracts the cable once it is released. This retraction is faster than the controlled release of the cable during lowering of load.

  • Publication number: 20040139650
Abstract: An automatic watering system for indoors plants which operates on moisture sensitive substance like crystal gel. The moisture sensitive substance deforms due to the absorption of moisture in the soil and in turn operates a valve by a mechanical, electrical or chemical arrangement. The operation of the valve allows the water to flow out of a controlled water chamber in response to dry condition of the soil. The water flow stops as the moisture content reaches a certain level in the soil. This automatic watering system is ideal for plants and shrubs unattended for a extended period of time. This automatic watering system is portable and completely integrated. Optional attachments can make the system good for several plant-pots and straight filling from any household faucet.

  • Publication number: 20040079626
Abstract: A non-conventional electrical circuit breaker with multiple cut-off threshold points, governed by built-in feed-back sensing circuits, which manipulates the tripping threshold values by sensing different requirements of maximum draw of current depending on the required circuit conditions and states of the application.

  • Patent number: 6701543
Abstract: A foldable/collapsible Child-Safety Water Spill-Guard with soft magnet or suction cup grippers attaches itself to a bathtub or Jacuzzi in an inclined fashion at any preferred place with out a need of permanent attachments. This child-safety water-spill guard comprises of a water proof sheet of plastic or fabric approximately the length of a standard tub with stiff nylon or plastic ribs spaced through out the length of the sheet. Each rib is essentially a two piece configuration, the longer of these rib pieces essentially have a wedge at the bottom; whereas under side of each rib is a soft/flexible magnet or suction cup secured with fusion, glue or plastic-weld etc., so when the safety spill-guard is placed and stretched along the long side of a bathtub the bottom section of the safety spill-guard is folded and wrapped on the inside of the bathtub hanging down from the rim sticking to the inner surface securely.

  • Publication number: 20040032334
Abstract: The present invention is to provide a convenient way to alarm a driver of the vehicle, especially for long distance driving, during the doze-ff condition that could exist while driving under the influence of fatigue or substance consumed. This invention is simple and retrofit able. This invention can also be built into the vehicle system in case of original equipment manufacturer. The doze-off early warning system operates on a low voltage current, that can be provide with a conventional battery or could be connected to the steering column power source. Some visual indicators are provided and an effective audio and visual alarm system is incorporated into the system. The alarming process is based on the forefinger pressure of the driver on the steering wheel grip. As the grip is relaxed the system goes into alarm mode. After series of time delay and analysis the alarm goes off to alert the driver of the dangerous condition. The system receives feed-back from other system of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 6550186
Abstract: A mechanism for preventing injury to a person's (especially a child's) hand when a fast-closing door slams against a door frame or jamb. The mechanism comprises a casing which is positioned within a hollowed out portion of the door. The casing is constructed with an opening disposed along the edge of the door. A metallic pendulum is housed and suspended within the casing such that the action of centrifugal force imparted by the fast-closing door will cause the pendulum to swing outwardly through the opening. A raised metal body is attached to the side molding of the door jamb and functions to engage the outwardly swung pendulum to prevent the door from completely closing.
