  • Publication number: 20240099650
Abstract: A portable handheld device for measuring the force of a joint of a person of interest, POI, the device including a force measuring body, enclosed in a housing, having at least one connector arranged on a side, called upper side, of the body for removably attaching to the body an accessory provided to be pressed towards the top side during for measurement; and a cup shaped bottom case having a bottom surface and an open side opposite to the bottom surface, for removably receiving the body with the upper side of the body positioned on the open side, and provided to be in contact with a part of a body of the POI during force measurement.

  • Patent number: 9796218
Abstract: Improving endurance of bead of radial tire for heavy vehicle. Tire has two beads (2) contacting rim (3) connected by carcass reinforcement (4) having carcass layer (5), with main part (6) wrapped, in each bead (2), axially from inside towards outside of the tire, around bead wire (7) having diameter (L), to form turnup (8) having free end (E). Each bead (2) has filling element (9) with filling compound (10) and extending radially towards outside from bead wire (7) and axially between turnup (8) and main part (6). The distance (I) between turnup (8) and main part (6) decreases continuously from bead wire (7) as far as a first minimum distance (a) reached at a first point (A) of turnup (8), then increases continuously from the first point (A) of turnup (8) as far as a first maximum distance (b) reached at a second point (B) of turnup (8).

  • Publication number: 20160001609
Abstract: Radial tire for heavy vehicle comprises carcass layer (3) comprising main part (31) wrapped, in each bead (1), from inside to outside of the tire, around bead wire (4), to form turn-up (32). Distance (d) between turn-up (32) and main part (31) decreases continuously, radially towards the outside, from bead wire (4), and passes through minimum value (d1). Carcass layer (3) has parallel reinforcers coated in coating compound (33), and filling element (5) extending axially between turn-up (32) and main part (31) and radially outwards from bead wire (4). Filling element (5) comprises two filling compounds (51, 52) extending radially outwards from bead wire (4). Compound (51) has a modulus of elasticity at 10% elongation at least equal to the modulus of elasticity of the second (52), which has a modulus of elasticity at 10% elongation equal to the modulus of elasticity at 10% elongation of coating compound (33).
