Abstract: A method for displaying a heat map of the seasonal breakeven inflation carry of inflation protected bonds comprising providing a spreadsheet of columns of carry values which have been seasonally adjusted according to the expected Consumer Price Index for rows of inflation protected bonds of different maturity dates, assigning color gradations within a first spectrum of colors to the carry values on a row by row basis for each bond and providing a first color to alternate rows, wherein the first color is in contrast to the colors of the first spectrum of colors.
