Publication number: 20240155500Abstract: Described herein are devices, systems, methods, and processes for managing power consumption in network nodes by dynamically disabling and reenabling features based on real-time power consumption monitoring and historical data analysis. A machine learning model is trained using historical sensor data and historical feature data to predict power consumption and derive feature-to-power association data. The power budget is determined based on sustainability goals. Real-time power consumption is monitored, and features are disabled or reenabled based on their priorities and power consumption levels to maintain the power budget. The machine learning model is validated and updated using new historical data to improve its prediction accuracy and adaptability. The feature-to-power association data is distributed to network nodes and management systems for power management purposes.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 29, 2023Publication date: May 9, 2024Inventors: Derek W. Publication number: 20240116314Abstract: A method of durably assembling a rubber part and a thermoplastic elastomer part into a composite structure is proposed. The method may comprise providing a first part comprising curable rubber and a second part made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) material, mediating an adhesive affinity on the at least one of the first and second parts for the other one of the at least two parts, bringing the first and second parts into contact with each other so as to form a composite structure and heat-treating the composite structure to durably bond the first part to the second part. The adhesive affinity may be mediated through adhesive, such as e.g., RFL or neoalkoxy zirconate/titanate adhesive) applied on the at least one of the first and second parts or though additives, e.g., neoalkoxy zirconate/titanate, in the rubber part.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 6, 2022Publication date: April 11, 2024Inventors: Frederic Gerard Auguste Siffer, Francesco Sportelli, Md Atiqur Rahman Bhuiyan

Patent number: 11783194Abstract: In example embodiments, an enhanced deep belief learning model with an extended Kalman filter (EKF) is used for training and updating a deep belief network (DBN) with new data to produce a DBN model useful in making predictions on a variety of types of datasets, including data captured from infrastructure-attached sensors describing the condition of the infrastructure. The EKF is employed to estimate operation parameters of the DBN and generate the model's output covariance. Further, in example embodiments, the configuration of the DBN model may be optimized by a competent genetic algorithm.Type: GrantFiled: February 20, 2020Date of Patent: October 10, 2023Assignee: Bentley Systems, IncorporatedInventors: Zheng Yi Wu, Qiao Li, Atiqur Rahman
