The printing device include a data receiving unit configured to receive print data from an external device, a print target data storing unit configured to store print target data to be referred to when the printing operation is executed from among the data received by the data receiving unit, a switching judgment unit configured to judge whether the print target data currently stored in the print target data storage unit should be overwritten with newly received print data, a switching unit configured to switch the print target data stored in the print target data storing unit to the received data when the switching judgment unit determines that the print target data is to be switched, and a holding unit configured to hold the received data until the print target data is determined to be switched.

Abstract: A print managing system has: client apparatuses for generating print data and sending the generated print data to a printing apparatus; and the printing apparatus connected with each of the client apparatuses though a network for receiving the print data from each of the client apparatuses, managing the received print data as a print job, which is an unit corresponding to one print data received from each of the client apparatuses, and printing the received print data for each print job. Each of the client apparatuses generates the print data and sends the print data to the printing apparatus. The printing apparatus receives the print data and manages the print data as the print job. Further, the printing apparatus produces the rough image on the basis of the print data. When receiving the request signal sent from each client apparatus, the printing apparatus sends the print job information to each client apparatus.

Abstract: A multilingual transmission system includes a server device and a client device. The server device analyzes the meaning and grammatical significance of a source text in a natural language. When vagueness exists in the source text, the server device displays different candidates corresponding to different interpretations of the vague source text, so that the user can select which interpretation is correct. The server device produces pivot language data accordingly and stores it. When the client device requests text data, the server device retrieves pivot language data corresponding to the requested text data. Based on the retrieved pivot language data, the server device generates target language text data in the language requested by the client device and transmits the generated target language text data to the client device.
