  • Patent number: 9966173
Abstract: A superconducting magnet device includes a superconducting coil, a radiation shield, a vacuum case, an electrode member, and a conductive member. The conductive member includes an oxidized lead disposed in the radiation shield. The vacuum case includes a case body having an outer opening and an outer lid that is detachably attachable to the case body. The radiation shield includes a shield body having an inner opening and an inner lid that is detachably attachable to the shield body. The inner opening is formed in the region of the shield body that overlaps a portion of the outer opening when viewed in the direction from the outer opening to the oxidized lead.

  • Publication number: 20180102719
Abstract: In a current sensor abnormality diagnosis device, an abnormality judgment section determines that the phase current sensors are operating normally when a sum of three phase currents is not more than a threshold value, and a bus current sensor is operating normally based on a comparison result between three phase currents and a bus current. The abnormality judgment section detects which the phase current sensor has failed based on the three phase currents and the bus current when the sum of the three phase currents is more than the threshold value. Because of using the comparison results of the three phase currents with the bus current in addition to the sum of the three phase currents, it is possible for the abnormality judgment section to detect the occurrence of abnormality of each of these current sensors even if the detected current has an undefined value.

  • Publication number: 20170291640
Abstract: In a rotation detecting apparatus, a sensor includes a sensor element outputting a measurement value representing rotation of a detection target, and a circuit module. The circuit module includes a rotational angle calculator calculating, based on the measurement value, rotational angle information indicative of a rotational angle of the detection target. The rotational angle calculator generates a rotational angle signal including the rotational angle information. The circuit module includes a rotation number calculator calculating, based on the measurement value, rotation number information representing the number of rotations of the detection target. The rotation number calculator generates a rotation number signal including the rotation number information. An output unit outputs, as an output signal, a series of the rotational angle signal and the rotation number signal.

  • Publication number: 20170294256
Abstract: A superconducting magnet device includes a vacuum container having a tubular barrel portion; a magnet assembly including a superconducting coil, a refrigerant tank, and a radiation shield, the magnet assembly being housed in the vacuum container; a supporting block fixed to the barrel portion and protruding beyond the barrel portion to the inside of the vacuum container; and a connecting portion which connects the magnet assembly and the supporting block to each other such that the magnet assembly is spaced apart from the barrel portion within the vacuum container. The connecting portion has thermal conductivity lower than thermal conductivity of the supporting member. The supporting member receives weight of the magnet assembly via the connecting portion while protruding inwardly beyond at least an outer circumference surface of the radiation shield of the magnet assembly.

  • Publication number: 20170287607
Abstract: A superconducting magnet device includes a superconducting coil, a radiation shield, a refrigeration unit, a vacuum case, an electrode member, and a conductive member. The vacuum case includes a case body housing the superconducting coil and a surrounding cover that surrounds the refrigeration unit. The conductive member includes a contact portion having a sleeve-shaped outer circumferential face and thermally contactable with an inner face of the surrounding cover via an insulating material. The surrounding cover includes a heat radiating part including at least a surface of a portion of the surrounding cover overlapping the contact portion in a radial direction of the surrounding cover. Thermal conductivity of the heat radiating part is higher than thermal conductivity of stainless steel.
