Patent number: 7191937Abstract: A sensor for executing simple discrimination is provided on a transfer path immediately after a cash inlet of a cash depository. The sensor detects a position of a bill in a transfer direction, a width of the bill in a direction orthogonal to the transfer direction, thereby outputting detection results to a controller. The controller calculates a degree of a slant of the bill and the width of the bill, thereby determining whether or not those values are in excess of reference values. If the controller determines that the degree of the slant and the width of the bill are in excess of the reference values, the transfer direction of the transfer path is changed over to coincide with a direction opposite to a normal direction by reverse-rotating a motor.Type: GrantFiled: February 1, 2005Date of Patent: March 20, 2007Assignees: Fujitsu Limited, Fujitsu Frontech LimitedInventors: Hayato Minamishin, Atsunori Kimura, Akinori Kojima

Publication number: 20050139447Abstract: Papers that are put in a depositing section are fed and conveyed one by one, and discriminated. Some of the papers that are judged by the discrimination as papers that are not objects to be handled, namely, as counterfeit papers are collected and stored within an exclusive storage housing. Furthermore, data such as images of the counterfeit papers, the contents printed on the counterfeit papers, and date and time are stored.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 14, 2005Publication date: June 30, 2005Applicants: FUJITSU LIMITED, FUJITSU FRONTECH LIMITEDInventors: Hayato Minamishin, Atsunori Kimura, Akinori Kojima

Publication number: 20050116407Abstract: Different paper sheets such as banknotes and paper moneys are inserted into a plurality of insertion parts. The paper sheets inserted into the respective insertion parts are run out one by one, and carried on the same carrying route. The run-out paper sheet is judged during the carriage thereof. According to the judgment result, a carrying destination thereof is determined, and then the paper sheet is carried and accommodated into the determined carrying destination.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 7, 2005Publication date: June 2, 2005Applicants: FUJITSU LIMITED, FUJITSU FRONTECH LIMITEDInventors: Hayato Minamishin, Atsunori Kimura, Akinori Kojima

Patent number: 6789682Abstract: A paper processing apparatus feeds papers one by one from the first cassette for storing papers to be delivered to the outside, conveys the fed papers on the first conveyance path to store them in a predetermined temporary storing section, and then delivers the stored papers in a block through a paper delivery aperture to the outside. Also, the paper processing apparatus leads papers having difficulties with delivery after being fed from the first cassette, to the second conveyance path which is a divergent path of the first conveyance path, and stores the led papers in the second cassette. The paper processing apparatus further comprises the third conveyance path for receiving papers coming from the outside and transmitting them to the first conveyance path.Type: GrantFiled: December 27, 2001Date of Patent: September 14, 2004Assignee: Fujitsu LimitedInventors: Hayato Minamishin, Atsunori Kimura, Hayami Abe
