  • Patent number: 11971112
Abstract: An electromagnetic valve manifold includes an electromagnetic valve including a discharge port, a manifold base including a discharge passage that is connected to the discharge port, and a check valve. The check valve includes a valve member, a valve housing including a valve seat, and an urging member. The valve housing includes a valve chamber that accommodates the valve member, a peripheral wall that defines the valve chamber, a valve hole that connects the valve chamber to the discharge port, and a discharge opening that connects the valve chamber to the discharge passage. The check valve is disposed in the discharge passage. The discharge opening is formed in the peripheral wall, at least a part of the discharge opening overlapping with the valve seat in a direction orthogonal to a moving direction of the valve member.

  • Publication number: 20240105349
Abstract: A nuclear fusion system comprises: a muon generation unit to generate negative muons including electron and positron accelerators for generating electron and positron beams; a gas supply unit to supply to circulate gaseous deuterium or gaseous deuterium-tritium mixture as raw material gas; a Laval nozzle to accelerate the raw material gas to supersonic velocity; and a shock wave cone connected to the Laval nozzle to introduce the raw material gas accelerated to supersonic velocity to generate an oblique shock wave, the raw material gas accelerated to supersonic velocity being introduced into the shock wave cone to generate the oblique shock wave, the oblique shock wave being decelerated to create a high-density gas target in an in-flight manner, the muons generated as a result of causing electrons and positrons to collide with each other being introduced into the high-density gas target thereby to cause a muon-catalyzed nuclear fusion reaction to occur.

  • Publication number: 20050187338
Abstract: A liquid curable resin composition comprising a compound having an ethylenically unsaturated group and an ion conductive group and optionally, an oligomer having at least two reactive groups is cured by heat and/or UV or EB irradiation to form an electrolyte membrane having excellent ionic conduction. The composition has a viscosity of 100-100,000 mPa·s at 25° C. so that it is readily applicable. The electrolyte membrane and an electrolyte membrane/electrode assembly for use in fuel cells satisfy cell-related properties including ionic conduction and film strength as well as productivity.

  • Patent number: 5305310
Abstract: The invention switches and forwards information data packets when a plurality of the packets having the same address are competing for simultaneous attention. A plurality of sorting circuits are coupled in a hierarchial cascade. All competing packets are originally received by a superior circuit in the hierarchial cascade. It processes the packet which wins a competition for its attention and passes the rest of the non-winning packets down the hierarchial cascade for processing by an inferior circuit.

  • Patent number: 5046064
Abstract: A switching system transfers information cells from time positions on incoming TDM channels to selected time positions on a particular outgoing TDM channel. Each information cell contains an address which controls the switching and data which is the transmitted message. A first time buffer delays the incoming information cell from the time position which in occupies on the incoming channel to a time position which is appropriate for the switching. After a switching, a second time buffer delays the outgoing signal unit the time position designated by the address. The alignments of the time positions on the outgoing channels are such that there is no conflict if a plurality of switching systems simultaneously feed information cells to the same outgoing channel.

  • Patent number: 4649857
Abstract: A thin-film forming device has a support frame for supporting a substrate to be coated with a thin film, a reaction chamber having a space surrounded by the substrate supported on the support frame, side walls mounted under both sides of the substrate and a bottom wall mounted under the side walls, an atomizer for delivering an atomized solution of a material to be coated on the surface of the substrate, a heater disposed behind the substrate for heating the substrate to a temperature higher than a reaction temperature of the material, and a nozzle connected to the atomizer and disposed in the reaction chamber in facing relation to the substrate for spraying the atomized solution toward the surface of the substrate, and cooling means for cooling at least an inside portion of the bottom wall in facing relation to the substrate to a temperature below the reaction temperature of the material.
