  • Publication number: 20100164870
Abstract: Provided is a key sheet which has a soft touch feeling and in which elaborate and highly visible display portions can be provided. In a key sheet including: a translucent base sheet; and a soft-feel layer which is laminated on a front surface side of the base sheet, includes a plurality of display portions representing key types such as letters, numerals, and symbols, and has a soft touch feeling, the soft-feel layer includes a translucent skin layer having the soft touch feeling and decorative portions which are provided on a back surface of the skin layer and are visible through the skin layer. Further, light emitted from an inside of a device transmits through the base sheet so as to reach the decorative portions, and hence it is possible to obtain an illumination-type key sheet excellent in illumination property and of wider variety.

  • Patent number: 7364649
Abstract: According to a method of producing a key top for a pushbutton switch of the present invention, a base layer made of an insulating resin that can be plated with metal, an electroless plating layer to be formed on the surface of the base layer, and a polymer coating layer, if required, are stacked on the surface of a key top body. Alternatively, an electroplating layer formed by electroplating is further formed on the electroless plating layer. Therefore, a plating layer can be directly and easily formed on the insulating resin, whereby a key top for a pushbutton switch having a sensation of metal and being rich in design is obtained.

  • Patent number: 7297221
Abstract: A method of producing a decorative molded object which is a resin molded object decorated with a color design image representing a letter, a symbol, a figure, or the like, includes the steps of printing a color design image on an image carrying layer with an output apparatus that collectively outputs color design data to form a coloring agent layer for displaying the color design image on the substrate sheet, transferring the coloring agent layer on the substrate sheet onto a resin molded object to be decorated, peeling the substrate sheet with the transferred coloring agent layer left on the resin molded object to form a color design image layer on the resin molded object and curing, after application and deposition onto the color design image layer, a transparent resin liquid to thereby form a transparent resin layer.
