  • Publication number: 20240143084
Abstract: A coordinate reception unit receives time series spatial coordinates of an object to be detected. The spatial coordinates include a coordinate in a first direction, a coordinate in a second direction intersecting the first direction, and a coordinate in a third direction intersecting the first direction and the second direction. When a predetermined first condition related to a change in the coordinate in the first direction is satisfied at a first point of time and then a predetermined second condition related to a change in the coordinate in the first direction is satisfied at a second point of time, a function execution unit executes a process in electronic equipment that is a target of control, based on the coordinate in the second direction and the coordinate in the third direction at one or more points of time between the first point of time and the second point of time.

  • Patent number: 11847279
Abstract: A display device includes a plurality of common electrodes. A second drive circuit supplies a touch drive signal to each of the plurality of common electrodes. A touch detection circuit performs detection of a touch by an object to the display device, based on a touch detection signal received from each of the plurality of common electrodes in one or more touch detection periods. A length of the one or more touch detection periods is a detection time. The touch detection circuit detects a noise at a frequency of the touch drive signal based on the touch detection signal. When the noise is detected, the control circuit changes the frequency of the touch drive signal to be lower than the frequency used when the noise is not detected and changes the detection time to be longer than the detection time used when the noise is not detected.

  • Patent number: 11604542
Abstract: In a display system, a display device includes a plurality of gate lines, a plurality of source lines and a plurality of common electrodes used for both image display and touch detection. A first acquirer acquires a specific frequency to be avoided. A second acquirer acquires a frequency of a control signal used to control the display device. When the specific frequency and the frequency of the control signal satisfy a changing condition, a changing unit changes the frequency of the control signal.

  • Patent number: 11494029
Abstract: In a display system, a source drive circuit outputs a source signal. Multiple switching elements are respectively connected between multiple source lines and the source drive circuit, and each switching element outputs a source signal output from the source drive circuit to a source line in an ON state and stops the output of the source signal to the source line in an OFF state. A switching circuit supplies multiple pulse signals to the multiple switching elements. A CPU determines pulse widths of the multiple pulse signals. The pulse widths of the multiple pulse signals are determined such that each of the pulse widths of the multiple pulse signals is longer than or equal to a charging time of a pixel electrode and such that the sum of the pulse widths of the multiple pulse signals is shorter than or equal to a horizontal synchronization period.

  • Publication number: 20220027006
Abstract: A display device includes multiple common electrodes. A drive circuit supplies a reference voltage for image display during a display period, for which the display device displays an image, and supplies a touch drive signal during a touch detection period, to each of the multiple common electrodes. A touch detection circuit performs detection of a touch by an object on the display device, during a touch detection period. A selector selects, as an operation mode of the display system, a first mode or a second mode. The first mode is an operation mode in which the display period and the touch detection period are alternately arranged within each of multiple successive frame periods of the display device. The second mode is an operation mode in which, during at least one frame period, the display device displays an image while the touch detection circuit stops touch detection.

  • Patent number: 9134836
Abstract: Provided is an electronic device. The electronic device includes a planar display unit, and a touch panel which is disposed so as to overlap the display unit and is capable of detecting a vertical distance between two-dimensional coordinates along a surface of the display unit and a finger. Resolution of the two-dimensional coordinates becomes finer as the vertical distance decreases. Thus, even when the operating finger is immobilized in a state where the electronic device is fixed, a display of a pointer is not wobbled or a display of a screen is not wobbled. In addition, when a line is drawn using a drawing mode, the line is not displayed jaggedly.
