  • Patent number: 8219548
Abstract: The execution of a process is analyzed by a data processing method using a data analysis device for processing a job by combining the processes of transforming input data and generating output data. The execution history of the process is recorded, and each time the process is executed, it is determined whether the process execution has a high anomaly probability based on a predetermined determination indicator. Upon determining that the process execution has a high anomaly probability, the process log information of the process including the determination indicator is recorded, and based on the process log information and the process execution history, the process with the high anomaly probability is further analyzed. By determining whether the process is anomalous or not, the process history analysis information including the analysis result and the execution history of the process to be analyzed is generated.

  • Patent number: 7913745
Abstract: A method for continuously casting a billet with a small cross section in which a curved type or vertical type continuous casting machine is used while oscillating the mold upward and downward is characterized in that the casting machine is provided with a mechanism for withdrawing speed oscillation. The mechanism has structural play in the directions of driving and reverse driving in such a manner that the amount of a play-incurred displacement from the neutral position of the structural play in the direction of billet driving or reverse driving is ±2 to ±30 mm in the direction of driving on the pinch roll circumferential length equivalent basis. The mechanism produces a returning force toward the neutral position and operational parameters such as the billet length, the specific amount of secondary cooling water, the casting speed as well as the oscillation amplitude and frequency are optimized.

  • Patent number: 7909086
Abstract: Continuously casting a billet with a small cross section by pouring molten steel into a mold using a cylindrical immersion nozzle is characterized by measuring the molten steel level in the mold using an eddy current sensor. The level is controlled based on the thus-measured value, motion of steel in the mold is adjusted by electromagnetic stirring, a cooling zone during the final period of solidification is disposed within a certain region ranging from the meniscus to the specific site, and casting speed is adjusted so that the region in which the solid phase ratio at the billet center is 0.3-0.99 may be included in the cooling zone during the final period of solidification. The secondary cooling water amount and the billet surface temperature at the entrance to the cooling zone the density of cooling water in the cooling zone during the final period of solidification are optimized.

  • Publication number: 20100314879
Abstract: A chimney has a lower portion substantially in the shape of a pyramid and an upper portion forming a cylindrical portion that extends with a predetermined dimension upwardly and is provided in a ceiling portion of a building of a coil yard that is used for temporary storage of the hot-rolled coil which is an intermediate iron and steel product acting as a high-temperature heat radiator that is manufactured using the hot-rolling equipment of an iron and steel mill. A power generating turbine is provided at a predetermined position in the cylindrical portion. An intake duct is provided on a lower end portion of the side walls of the building. Hot-rolled coils that are in a high-temperature condition after manufacture are successively imported into the coil yard and accumulated and stored until transfer to a subsequent processing step. An ascending airflow is generated by sequential heating of air introduced into the building from the intake duct using heat retained in the hot-rolled coils.

  • Publication number: 20100032127
Abstract: In a mold for casting a billet with a curved type continuous casting apparatus, D0 (m) is an inner diameter at a lower mold edge and R0 (m) is a curvature radius of an outer curvature side at the lower mold edge. When a rate of change Tp (%/m) in mold inner diameter per unit length along a casting direction is Tp=(1/D0)×(dD/dx)×100 (%/m), and when a rate of change Rp (%/m) in curvature radius of an outer curvature side per unit length along the casting direction is Rp=(1/R0)×(dR/dx)×100 (%/m), the rate of change Tp in mold inner diameter and the rate of change Rp in curvature radius satisfy a relationship expressed Rp=(Tp/2)×(D0/R0), where D is a mold inner diameter at a distance x away from an upper mold edge and R in Formula 2 is a curvature radius of the outer curvature side at the distance x.

  • Patent number: 7653662
Abstract: It is judged whether the reference data is the latest and if not the latest, the data is updated to the latest in a short time. A program in which data creation procedure is pre-defined creates requested secondary data according to primary data. The primary data, the secondary data, and data update information including the primary data update time and the secondary data update time are stored in a storage device. When the relationship between data update information on the primary data and the secondary data used for creating the requested secondary data when generation of the secondary data is requested and the data update information on the requested secondary data does not satisfy a predetermined condition, a program for creating the requested secondary data is executed. Furthermore, the primary data and the secondary data are outputted to the output unit while correlating them to each other.

  • Publication number: 20090325753
Abstract: A reduction gear transmission capable of realizing a large reduction ratio while preventing both an increase in its diameter and a decrease in the diameter of its through hole, including: a motor gear; an intermediate shaft; a first and second gear; an input shaft; and an external and internal gear. The first and second gears are fixed to the intermediate shaft. The first gear meshes with the motor gear. The input shaft causes an eccentric rotation member to rotate eccentrically with the rotation of the input gear, which meshes with the second gear. The external gear engages the eccentric rotation member, revolving orbitally around an axis line of the input shaft. The internal gear meshes with the external gear, each having a different number of teeth. The motor gear and first gear mesh at a position offset from a straight line formed by connecting an axis line of the intermediate shaft and of the input shaft.

  • Patent number: 5836376
Abstract: To give vibration to molten metal in a melt pool to enhance solidification efficiency of the molten metal.Substantially directly above meniscus 14 between molten metal 5 in a melt pool 4 and each of rolls, an AC electromagnet 15 is arranged over the entire length of said meniscus 14 so that magnetic flux runs substantially perpendicular to a surface of the molten metal. Above the AC electromagnet 15, a DC electromagnet 16 is arranged over the entire length of the AC electromagnet 15 so that magnetic flux runs substantially perpendicular to the surface of the molten metal. Under application of DC magnetic field by means of the DC electromagnet 16, an AC magnetic field is applied near the meniscus 14 between the molten metal 5 in the melt pool 4 and each of the rolls 1 and 2. As a result, induction current is generated in the molten metal 5 and high frequency vibration is applied to the molten metal 5 by Lorentz's force due to interaction between the induction current and the DC magnetic field.
