  • Patent number: 8936126
Abstract: A vehicle battery pack mounting structure that suppresses vibrations of a floor panel while making a shock absorbing space between the battery pack and vehicle exterior members large by effectively utilizing a space between coil springs. The battery pack mounting structure includes a pair of left and right side members and a cross member for supporting the battery pack. A pair of left and right coil springs is installed at these side members and function as suspension members. The battery pack is installed inside an opening of a floor panel between the coil springs, and also between the coil springs, a front portion of the battery pack has a tapered outer surface that becomes narrower as it enters deeper into a space between the coil springs. The opening of the floor panel also has a tapered edge shape.

  • Patent number: 8820455
Abstract: A battery pack cooling mechanism for a hybrid vehicle is provided. An opening is formed in a floor panel located rearwardly of the vehicle. An upper portion of a battery pack inserted into the opening is closed by a cover panel. The opening is formed in misalignment with above an exhaust pipe so that the battery pack is arranged adjacent the exhaust pipe in the width-wise direction of the vehicle. An air-intake device is mounted on a top surface of the battery pack. An air outlet port of the air-intake device opens frontward of the vehicle. An air outlet port of an air outlet duct opens more rearwardly than the battery pack. A filer element which removes foreign substances is disposed in the air-intake device. A service lid is disposed on an upper portion of the cover panel for maintenance of the filter element.

  • Patent number: 6881657
Abstract: In a method for forming a semiconductor device, the major surface of a substrate is separated into a first element region for forming a first field-effect transistor and a second element region for forming a second field-effect transistor. A silicon nitride film is formed in each of the first and second element regions. Thereafter, the silicon nitride film formed in the second element region is removed, and the substrate is subjected to heat treatment in an ambient that contains nitrogen oxide. Thereby, the silicon nitride film in the first element region is oxidized to form an oxynitride film, and a silicon oxynitride film is formed in the second element region. Thereafter, a high-dielectric-constant film is formed on the silicon oxynitride films in each of the first and second element regions.

  • Patent number: 6540792
Abstract: A fiber structure comprising cellulose fibers crosslinked by using a crosslinking agent and synthetic fibers, characterized in that the crosslinking index represented by the following formula of the cellulose fibers is in a range of 1 to 4, and that the synthetic fibers contain an antimicrobial agent having an inorganic value/organic value ratio of 0.3 to 1.4. This structure has antimicrobial property excellent in industrial washing durability and also has shape stability such as crease resistance and shrinkage resistance. Crosslinking index=A−B where A is the coefficient of moisture absorption of the fiber structure after crosslinking in an atmosphere of 30° C. and 90% RH (%), and B is the coefficient of moisture absorption of the fiber structure after crosslinking in an atmosphere of 20° C. and 65% RH (%).

  • Patent number: 6338003
Abstract: A data display/input method for a CNC apparatus without necessity of using a personal computer which has been served as a relaying device between the CNC apparatus and a host computer and also as a display device, and also capable of constructing an FA network system at low cost. A display screen of the CNC apparatus is split into first and second display areas so that information transferred from the host computer to the CNC apparatus is displayed in the first display area while information inputted to the CNC apparatus by the operator is displayed in the second display area. Display attributes in the CNC apparatus are switched in accordance with display attributes specified by the information transferred to the CNC apparatus from the host computer, whereby restrictions on a data display of the CNC apparatus are removed, permitting text data and graphic data to be displayed.
