    Abstract: An optical module of a configuration that ensures use of commercially available electronic components and reduction of the number of current generation circuits and electric wirings. The optical module includes an electronic component mounted on a separate board from a light wave circuit board provided with an optical component such as an optical switch, and they are each electrically connected by wire bonding. For this reason, the optical module can use a commercially available electronic component. In addition, the module has a configuration in which heaters of optical switches, which do not simultaneously flow currents, are grouped and a current from one current generation circuit is supplied to any one of the heaters in the group by means of one electrical switch. For this reason, the optical module does not have to be prepared with the same number of electrical switches and current generation circuits as the number of heaters.

The radar ECU 13 selects 5 (five) in ascending order of the relative distances D among the moving objects other than the moving object selected at S14 (S15). The radar ECU 13 transmits object information on the moving objects selected at S13 and S14 to a driving support ECU 20 (S16). The driving support ECU 20 performs various driving support controls based on the transmitted object information.

    Abstract: There is described an image outputting system which has an image editing terminal, at one end, that transmits digital image data based on an original image for printing plate making, and the image outputting apparatus, at the other end, that receives the digital image data and outputs the original image for printing plate making. In the image outputting system, the image outputting apparatus reads an original image for printing plate making added with written correction instructions and transmits the image data of the original image. The image-editing terminal having received the image data displays the original image for printing plate making added with the written correction instructions, the original image being based on the image data. Thus, the image outputting system performs editing to correct the original image for printing plate making, according to the correction instructions written on the original image for printing plate making.

The memory stores a plurality of medical images including temporally sequential images of a common portion of a same patient taken at different points of time. The image processor processes at least two of the plurality of medical images read out from the memory according to registration information of the at least two of the plurality of medical images so as to obtain a processed image. The image adder adds one of the plurality of medical images read out from the memory to the processed image so as to obtain an addition image. And the display displays the addition image.

    Abstract: An irradiation field region extracting apparatus for extracting an irradiation field region from a given radiation image. According to a first embodiment, image data corresponding to the radiation image is rotationally moved around a predetermined rotational center of the image data, with the image data having rectangular coordinates set thereon. A boundary line is extracted between the irradiation field region, where the radiation image is exposed, and an irradiation field stop region, where no radiation image is exposed, according to the image data rotationally moved by the rotational movement means. A parallel condition of the boundary line is detected wherein the boundary line is parallel to an axis of the image data, and rotation information data is generated which indicate an angle of a rotational movement of the boundary line from an original location to a location of the parallel condition and a distance between the predetermined rotational center and a given point on the boundary line.
