  • Publication number: 20210016609
Abstract: A heavy duty tire (1a) includes a tread (4) and a pair of sidewalls (5) connected to both sides of the tread (4). The heavy duty tire (1a) further includes beads (2) connected to the sidewalls (5), and at least one circumferential groove (10) provided on the respective sidewalls (5) in a tire circumferential direction C. The sidewalls (5) each have the maximum width position P2 in a tire width direction. The at least one circumferential groove (10), when a distance between an innermost end position P1 of a carcass ply (3) in a tire radial direction R and the maximum width position P2 is defined as H, is provided between a position P3 with a distance of ½H from the maximum width position P2 toward an inner side in the tire radial direction R and a position P4 with a distance of ¾H from the maximum width position P2 toward an outer side in the tire radial direction R.

  • Patent number: 10408710
Abstract: The tire fault portion prediction system of this disclosure comprises: a tire running parameter measurement unit, a state characteristic value measurement unit, a degree of fatigue characteristic value calculation unit, and a tire fault portion prediction unit for predicting fault portions of a tire based on a degree of fatigue characteristic value of at least one of the tire constituent members and the tire running parameter. The tire fault portion prediction method of this disclosure comprises: measuring a tire running parameter, measuring state characteristic values, calculating degree of fatigue characteristic values, and predicting fault portions of a tire based on a degree of fatigue characteristic value of at least one of the tire constituent members and the tire running parameter.

  • Publication number: 20180290503
Abstract: To provide a construction vehicle tire capable of reducing compression strain generated in a carcass folded portion and improving durability of a bead portion even in a state closer to an actual use environment in which large lateral force is input. In a construction vehicle tire (1) according to the present invention, when mounted to a wheel rim (100), a height (HA) of a carcass cord (31) of a carcass body (40) corresponding to the minimum value a from a base line (BL) of the wheel rim (100), a height (HB) of the carcass cord (31) of the carcass body portion (40) corresponding to the maximum value b from the base line (BL), and a flange height (HF) of the wheel rim (100) from the base line (BL) fulfill relations of 1.2 HF?HA?2.5 HF, 2.6 HF?HB?3.5 HF, and 1.10?b/a<1.40.
