  • Patent number: 9889672
Abstract: An attachment is mounted on a cartridge holder of a printer as a replacement of an ink cartridge. An ink outlet member having a link passage is separably secured to an attachment body. Ink is supplied from the exterior to the ink outlet member through an ink supply tube. When the attachment is mounted on the cartridge holder, a downstream end of the ink outlet member is positioned with respect to and connected to an ink supply needle of the printer. Accordingly, the attachment is easily and quickly installed in a liquid ejection apparatus. This reduces costs and makes it easy to use the attachment.

  • Patent number: 9874479
Abstract: To provide a high accuracy temperature detection device, a D/A conversion circuit includes a ladder network, constant current circuits and switch circuits. A temperature sensing circuit such as a diode is kept at a threshold temperature of a protecting operation against overheating and the switch circuits are switched according to a predetermined adjustment data value such that a temperature detection voltage is in a prescribed range. Since each of the switch circuits connects between corresponding one of the constant current circuits and a common terminal while disconnecting between the corresponding one of the constant current circuits and corresponding one of current terminals, an electric current flowing to the temperature sensing circuit is constant regardless of the adjustment data value and a correction resolution of the temperature detection voltage is constant.

  • Patent number: 9829345
Abstract: A rotation detection apparatus includes a signal detector and a determination circuit. The signal detector outputs a first signal and a second signal based on changes in respective resistance values of magnetoresistive element pairs. The first signal has a waveform corresponding to convexities and concavities of a rotor, while the second signal has a waveform differing in phase from the first signal. Upon receiving the first signal and second signal, the determination circuit compares each of the first signal and second signal against a binarization threshold value to generate a first binarized signal and a second binarized signal. The determination circuit permits output of the first binarized signal during one of a concavity period and a convexity period of the second binarized signal, and prohibits output of the first binarized signal during the other one of the concavity period and convexity period.

  • Patent number: 9778136
Abstract: Provided are a lens power measurement device and a lens power measurement method whereby lens power measurement results of a contact lens can be displayed in a manner which is easy to view, while maintaining fully satisfactory precision of the lens power measurement results. From lens power distribution information determined based on optical property measurement information of a contact lens, correction target information including positive and negative abnormal peaks on both sides of a lens central axis in a lens central area is selected. Lens power distribution measurement results are then obtained by applying substitution using a correction function that smoothes out the abnormal peaks to the selected correction target information to smooth the lens power measurement values.
