  • Publication number: 20040063882
Abstract: The (meth)acrylate of the present invention is represented by the following formula (1). The (meth)acrylate can be produced by first producing a lactone by reducing an addition product obtained by the Diels-Alder reaction between 1,3-diene and maleic anhydride, and then hydrating the lactone to produce an alcohol followed by (meth)acrylation of the alcohol. A polymer produced by (co)polymerizing a monomer composition comprising the (meth)acrylate of the present invention is excellent in transparency, dry etching resistance, and solubility in organic solvents, and so it is preferably used as a resin for a chemically amplified resist composition.

  • Publication number: 20040031632
Abstract: An electrically-powered scooter including a front wheel, a rear wheel and a frame assembly. A handlebar assembly and a seat assembly are supported by the frame assembly. The frame assembly includes a left frame rail and a right frame rail spaced laterally from one another and extending between the handle bar assembly and the seat assembly. A battery support extends between the left and the right frame rails at a position intermediate the handle bar assembly and the seat assembly. A battery is supported by the battery support. In one arrangement, the battery support includes an enclosure defining a battery storage chamber. The enclosure includes a guide member configured to engage a guide recess of the battery to guide the battery into the battery storage chamber. In another arrangement, the battery may include a recharging port, an axis of which defines an oblique angle with an axis of the battery.

  • Patent number: 6218325
Abstract: A fiber-reinforced ceramic green body having enough green strength and handling strength. The fiber-reinforced ceramic green body is obtained by molding a ceramic composition comprising a ceramic powder, a sintering aid powder, an organic fiber, an aqueous dispersion medium and an optional dispersant. The organic fiber is contained in the ceramic green body in an amount of 0.2-3 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of a total of the ceramic powder and the sintering aid powder and uniformly dispersed throughout it. The average length of the organic fiber is 300-1000 &mgr;m and the average diameter is 2.5-30 &mgr;m. The organic fiber is preferably a synthetic high polymer such as polyester, nylon, etc., and preferably has a hydrophilic nature imparted by surface treatment.

  • Patent number: 5599867
Abstract: A composition for manufacturing a fiber-reinforced molded ceramic body comprises a ceramic powder composed primarily of silicon nitride, inorganic fibers and a binder which are added to the ceramic powder. A fiber-reinforced molded ceramic body is manufactured by producing a slurry from such a composition, pouring the slurry into a mold to produce a fiber-reinforced molded ceramic body, and drying the fiber-reinforced molded ceramic body.
