  • Patent number: 6976381
Abstract: To manufacture a cylindrical member, such as the nozzle body of a fuel injector, in which a fluid passage is formed at high productivity and to improve the reliability. A cylindrical member, such as the nozzle body of a fuel injector, in which a fluid passage is formed is manufactured by drawing martenstic stainless steel. In addition, during the drawing process of martenstic stainless steel, an intermediate product is annealed and lug is removed after another drawing process, and then is subjected to drawing again to obtain a product.

  • Patent number: 6710745
Abstract: A high-frequency communication apparatus has a case containing a transmitter-receiver including circuit elements. A functional structure capable of confining radiation energy radiated by unnecessary radio wave source to prevent the radiation energy from interfering with the operations of the transmitter-receiver is formed on at least one of the walls of the case by forming a plurality of projections in regular arrangement by press working. The circuit elements of the transmitter-receiver are packed in the case to suppress the undesired electromagnetic coupling of internal and external electromagnetic waves with the circuit elements of the transmitter-receiver.

  • Patent number: 5239751
Abstract: A method of producing a cylindrical nozzle incorporated in a fuel injection valve for an internal combustion engine including the steps of: setting a cylindrical nozzle blank on a second die so that a lower bottom face of the cylindrical nozzle blank rests on the second die; pressing a punch into the cylindrical nozzle blank while being guided along the inner wall face of the cylindrical nozzle blank; pressing the punch onto a bottom of the cylindrical nozzle blank to induce plastic flow, thereby transfer forming a seat portion at a center on the upper bottom face of the cylindrical nozzle blank; removing a projection formed on the lower bottom face of the cylindrical nozzle blank due to the plastic flow; boring a nozzle injection hole at the center of the transfer formed seat portion of the projection removed cylindrical nozzle blank; and hardening the bored cylindrical nozzle blank.

  • Patent number: 5127156
Abstract: An inner cylindrical component is disposed on a bottom portion of an outer cylindrical component with a clearance which is formed between an outer diameter portion of the inner component and an inner diameter portion of the outer component. A guiding pin for positioning is inserted concentrically through the inner component and a tip end portion of the guiding pin engages with the bottom portion of the outer component. An outer peripheral portion of the positioned inner component is locally and vertically pressure-pressed. A portion of the inner component is extended in an outer diameter direction according to the pressure-pressing plastic deformation. The extended member of the inner component is joined together with the inner diameter portion of the outer component. The extended member of the inner component and the outer component are mutually combined together. After the pressing operation the guiding pin is withdrawn.

  • Patent number: 5109823
Abstract: A fuel injector device has a fuel swirling element disposed upstream of a valve seat and capable of imparting a swirling force to a fuel supplied thereto, a fuel injection nozzle orifice disposed downstream of the valve seat, and a fuel distributing adapter disposed downstream of the fuel injection nozzle orifice and capable of distributing the flow of the fuel injected by the fuel injection nozzle orifice in two directions. The adapter has an axial fuel passage having a fuel inlet of a diameter greater than that of the injection orifice and an outlet end of a substantially "8"-shape having a minimum diameter smaller than that of the inlet end. The adapter can be formed by preparing a blank having an axial fuel passage and then conducting a plastic work by a punch press on an end face of the blank so as to restrict the outlet end of the fuel passage.
