  • Publication number: 20190182733
Abstract: A common C-Plane control node includes a change request acquiring unit that acquires a change request relating to changing of a communication path relating to a UE, a determination unit that determines whether or not the UE has set up the communication path in each of control nodes of a plurality of slices using information included in the change request acquired by the change request acquiring unit, and a communication processing unit that performs a process relating to changing of a communication path while forming a state in which the communication path before change and the communication path after change coexist for each of a plurality of communication paths in a case in which the determination unit determines that the UE has set up the communication path in each of the plurality of slices.

  • Patent number: 10278102
Abstract: A correspondence information storage 32 acquires correspondence information in which an eNB 20, an SGW-C 60, and an SGW-U 70 are associated with each other in advance, and a connection controller 31 receives a handover request from the eNB 20 and identifies a target eNB 20 and a source eNB 20. A connection changer 33 identifies the SGW-C 60 and the SGW-U 70 associated with the target eNB 20 and identifies the SGW-C 60 and the SGW-U 70 associated with the source eNB 20, with reference to the correspondence information. The connection changer 33 determines whether or not the SGW-C 60 and the SGW-U 70 are to be changed on the basis of the identified result, and controls change requests for at least one of the SGW-C 60 and the SGW-U 70 on the basis of a result of the determination.

  • Publication number: 20190059036
Abstract: A slice management system is a system managing a slice that is a virtual network generated on a network infrastructure and includes a DNS storing slice information relating to a slice to which a UE can be connected for each area and determines whether or not the UE can, in a moving destination area that is a destination of movement of the UE between areas, be connected to a slice to which the UE was connected in a moving source area by referring to the DNS. In a case in which it is determined that the connection cannot be made, the slice management system generates the slice in the moving destination area such that the UE can be connected to the slice in the moving destination area.

  • Publication number: 20190053297
Abstract: A connection control method is implemented by a communication system including a UE, two or more SGWs, and an MME for performing processing related to establishment and release of communication paths between the two or more SGWs and the UE. The connection control method includes a request reception in which the MME receives an establishment request of a communication path associated with the UE from one SGW, a path establishment starting processing related to establishment of communication paths between the UE and all SGWs, and an information updating in which the MME updates information related to an establishment status of the communication path stored in a storage unit on the basis of a result of establishing the communication path.

  • Publication number: 20190053146
Abstract: A slice management system (1) is a slice management system managing slices that are virtual networks generated on a network infrastructure, comprises a memory storing a priority list in which slices of connection destination candidates of a UE (2) are aligned in order of priority levels and, in a case in which a connection request for a slice from the UE (2) is acquired, determines a slice to which UE (2) is to be connected on the basis of the priority list stored in the memory.

  • Publication number: 20190037521
Abstract: An SGW-C acquires correlation information in advance and retrieves an SGW-U corresponding to a tracking area of a movement destination of UE with reference to the correlation information. An MME issues a request for connection between the SGW-U retrieved by the SGW-C and an eNB. In this way, since the correlation information in which SGW-Us and tracking areas are correlated with each other is stored, it is possible to appropriately change a tracking area even in a situation in which a control plane and a user plane are separated.

  • Publication number: 20180367953
Abstract: A terminal connected to a plurality of user planes retains information on a tracking area where service areas of the plurality of user planes overlap each other as a tracking area identity list. When the terminal moves to the outside of a tracking area described in the tracking area identity list (a tracking area where a plurality of service areas overlap each other), the terminal transmits information on a tracking area after movement and an update request of the tracking area identity list to an MME. The MME creates, as a new tracking area identity list based on the update request, information on a tracking area where service areas in a plurality of user planes overlap in which a tracking area after movement is considered as a service area, and notifies the terminal of the new tracking area identity list for updating a current tracking area identity list.
