  • Patent number: 9747161
Abstract: The invention provides a signal processing device, including: an extraction section that extracts, from an input digital signal, a decoding target signal at an extraction timing that has been determined as a timing for extracting the decoding target signal; a decoding section that decodes the decoding target signal by estimating, by a maximum likelihood decoding, a candidate for a decoding result of the decoding target signal extracted by the extraction section and detecting a maximum likelihood decoding result; and an adjustment section that adjusts the extraction timing using a likelihood of the candidate for the decoding result estimated by the decoding section.

  • Patent number: 5109539
Abstract: A portable radio device in which a radio telephone device body and a receiver unit are separately constructed and connected together by a pair of adjustable supporting rods. As a result, the distance between the radio telephone device body and the receiver unit can be adjusted according to whether the device is being used as a telephone unit or a pager unit. While being used as a telephone, the distance between a receiver and a microphone can be easily adjusted to the distance between an ear and a mouth of a user. When the device is used as a paper, it can be miniaturized so as to be conveniently carried.

  • Patent number: 5086509
Abstract: A housing for a portable radio telephone device to which a part thereof is exposed externally at a position recessed from an outer surface of a portable radio telephone device so that the part does not contact the skin whereby heat generated within the portable radio telephone device is efficiently radiated outside and a reliable operability is provided without the outersurface portions to thereof become too hot or cold to comfortably hold by hand.
