  • Publication number: 20160291543
Abstract: In a process of manufacturing the volume holographic element, a holographic material layer is irradiated with reference light from the side of a second substrate in the oblique direction, and the holographic material layer is vertically irradiated with object light from the side of a first substrate in an interference exposure process. Since a first translucent anti-reflective layer is formed on the first surface of the first substrate, it is difficult that a situation in which the reference light is reflected in the first surface in the oblique direction occurs. In addition, since a second translucent anti-reflective layer is formed on the second surface of the second substrate, it is difficult that a situation in which the object light is reflected in the second surface occurs.

  • Patent number: 9432657
Abstract: On a display device, a lenticular lens is arranged in a state where a periodic direction thereof is inclined with respect to the horizontal direction. Within a maximum predetermined viewing angle defined by two viewpoint images with the largest parallax, a viewpoint adjustment unit sets a first angular region where there is a high possibility that one or more eyes may be present when an observer observes the display device, and a second angular region where there is a low possibility that one or more eyes may be present. The viewpoint adjustment unit adjusts the viewpoints so that a parallax between adjacent viewpoint images in viewpoint images to be presented in the first angular region is reduced more than a parallax between adjacent viewpoint images in viewpoint images to be presented in the second angular region.

  • Patent number: 9212961
Abstract: A grinding abnormality monitoring method and device for grinding a plurality of works of the same type are proposed which can improve the accuracy of judgment whether an abnormality is generated or not by properly setting a threshold value. According to the method or the device, by setting at least one of upper and lower limit values of a trial grinding load detected at the trial grinding of at least one of the works, an occurrence of grinding abnormality is judged when an actual grinding load detected at the actual grinding of work exceeds at least one of the upper and lower limit values thereof which varies depending on the time elapsed from the start of the actual grinding or a position of work relative to a grinding wheel.

  • Patent number: 9167233
Abstract: A plurality of pixels is arrayed on a display device. On the display device, a lenticular lens is arranged in a state where a periodic direction thereof is inclined with respect to a horizontal direction. The lenticular lens divides video data of N different viewpoints into separate viewpoint directions, presents the divided video data, and creates stereoscopic vision. In the event of assigning respective pieces of pixel data of video data composed of less than N viewpoint images to the plurality of pixels and displaying the pixel data, the drive unit lowers brightness of pixel data of viewpoint images seen to overlap each other.

  • Patent number: 9110298
Abstract: A naked-eye stereoscopic display apparatus satisfies ?=arctan {(Ax·px)/(Ay·py)}, GF=Bx·Lx/px, Ay?2 and Bx?2, Lx=?·px+?·py·tan ?, and GH=(?·px)2+(?·py)2. In these expressions, px is a pixel pitch in a horizontal direction, py is a pixel pitch in a vertical direction, Lx is a lens pitch of cylindrical lenses in the horizontal direction, ? is an inclination angle of cylindrical lenses, Ax and Ay are integers prime to each other, and ? and ? are integers. Bx is a minimum natural number in which a numeric value GF becomes an integer. When ?0 is defined as the value of ? that minimizes the numeric value GF, ?0 is not a multiple of the number of types of color pixels. When Lx=?·px is established, the naked-eye stereoscopic display apparatus satisfies tan ?=(7??)·(px/py) and 5.3???5.4.
