  • Patent number: 11977265
Abstract: An optical element that is optically coupled to light inlet/outlet ends of an optical fiber is disposed on a base placed near the light inlet/outlet ends of the optical fiber. Moreover, a rod-like reinforcing member has an integral structure fixed into a first hole formed in the optical fiber and a second hole formed in the base 102.

  • Patent number: 11960123
Abstract: An optical connection structure includes a first focus lens arranged between a first light incidence/emission end and an optical element, and a second focus lens arranged between a second light incidence/emission end and the optical element. The first focus lens and the second focus lens are arranged on an optical axis connecting the first light incidence/emission end and the second light incidence/emission end.

  • Patent number: 11960121
Abstract: An embodiment optical body is provided in a propagation path of light between a Si waveguide and an optical fiber. The optical body changes a course of some of radiation mode light, which is emitted from the Si waveguide and propagates in a direction away from an optical axis thereof, to obtain waveguide mode light passing through itself. Thus, the amount of waveguide mode light incident on the optical fiber increases, and the coupling efficiency between the Si waveguide and the optical fiber is improved.

  • Patent number: 11934022
Abstract: A photoelectric fiber includes a fiber including a core through which light is guided; an electrical unit formed continuously with the fiber, the electrical unit being configured to house a photoelectric conversion chip including a photoelectric conversion element; and an external electrode formed on a front surface of at least one of the fiber or the electrical unit, wherein the photoelectric conversion chip is optically connected to the core and electrically connected to the external electrode.

  • Patent number: 5418404
Abstract: In a data processing device, when exchanging a plug-in package with another without breaking the power to be supplied to the data processing device, a package removing lever is equipped with a locking piece. The lever does not move and the package hence cannot be removed, until the locking piece is released. In response to the release operation of the locking piece, a switch is activated to break off the power supply for the package. After the package is mounted perfectly, the power for the package is switched on by the action of the locking piece, thus preventing any misoperation when removing the package.
