  • Patent number: 11970019
Abstract: An envelope processing apparatus that inserts an enclosure into an envelope includes an envelope conveyor, a flap opener, an enclosure pusher, and circuitry. The envelope conveyor extends in a vertical direction and conveys the envelope to an enclosing position via an envelope conveyance passage as a passage in which the envelope is conveyed. The flap opener opens a flap of the envelope. The enclosure pusher pushes the enclosure toward an opening of a body of the envelope conveyed to the enclosing position with the flap open. The circuitry changes a pushing amount of the enclosure into the envelope and adjusts the pushing amount based on the opening of the body of the envelope within a specified range from an inside to an outside of the body of the envelope.

  • Publication number: 20230406032
Abstract: An envelope processing apparatus includes a flap opener, a first envelope detector, a second envelope detector, and circuitry. The flap opener opens a flap of an envelope during conveyance of the envelope in an envelope conveyance passage in which the envelope is conveyed to an enclosing position. The first envelope detector detects the envelope at a position upstream from the flap opener in a conveyance direction of the envelope. The second envelope detector detects the envelope at a position downstream from the flap opener in the conveyance direction. The circuitry causes the flap opener to execute an opening operation of the flap of the envelope conveyed to the enclosing position and causes the flap opener to execute the opening operation of the flap again when an opening-and-closing state of the flap determined based on detection results of the envelope by the first and second envelope detectors is abnormal.

  • Publication number: 20230399192
Abstract: An enclosing device to insert an enclosure into an envelope conveyed to an enclosing position includes an envelope conveyor and an enclosing unit. The envelope conveyor conveys the envelope to the enclosing position. The enclosing unit opens a frontage of the envelope such that the enclosure is inserted into the envelope that has reached the enclosing position and includes an opening amount adjuster to adjust an opening amount of the frontage when the enclosure is inserted into the envelope. The opening amount adjuster adjusts the opening amount, depending on a flap length and a body length. The flap length is a length of a flap of the envelope in a conveyance direction in which the envelope is conveyed to the enclosing position. The body length is a length of a body of the envelope in the conveyance direction.

  • Patent number: 7415081
Abstract: Reception timing of a signal consisting of a valid symbol section and a guard interval section is controlled properly. According to a result of auto-correlation calculation performed by a guard correlation processor, a timing adjustment block generates a control voltage for adjusting the reception timing of the valid symbol section. A first and a second loop filter filter the control voltage signal generated by the timing adjustment block and sends it to a switch. An inter-symbol interference decision block decides whether an inter-symbol interference is generated according to the result of the auto-correlation calculation performed by the guard correlation processor, and controls the switch according to the decision result. Where, in the first loop filter, a comparatively large gain is set while in the second loop filter, a comparatively small gain is set.

  • Patent number: 7043026
Abstract: An AM neighboring interference removing method and circuit is provided which can select only a desired AM modulation wave even if an interference AM modulation wave is partially superposed upon the desired AM modulation wave. An AM modulation wave desired to be received is multiplied at multipliers by local oscillation signals having frequencies 3fc/2 and fc/2 where fc is the carrier frequency of a neighboring interference AM modulation wave. High frequency components contained in the outputs of the multipliers are removed by low-pass filters. Of the outputs of the low-pass filters, the carrier frequency of the neighboring interference wave is fc/2 and the AM carrier frequencies of the AM stereo modulation wave are (fc/2+f?) and (fc/2?f?), where f? is a difference frequency between the AM carrier frequency of the AM stereo modulation wave and the carrier frequency of the neighboring interference wave.
