    Abstract: In one embodiment, an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes a probe configured to be equipped with plural transducers arranged in a first direction and a second direction perpendicular to the first direction and be able to perform a two-dimensional scan in the first and second directions; a moving device configured to support the probe and mechanically move the probe in the second direction; a receiving circuit configured to generate first reception signals for respective moving positions of the probe in the second direction by performing receiving phase-compensation and summation processing on respective reflected signals received by the plurality of transducers at each of the moving positions; and processing circuitry configured to generate a second reception signal by performing moving aperture synthesis on the first reception signals generated for the respective moving positions of the probe based on positional information of the probe and generate image data from the second reception signal.

Each set of ultrasound transmission and reception is constituted of repeated ultrasound transmission and reception sequentially performed in reversed phase polarity along the same scan line. The addition unit adds reflected wave data in the second mode. The image generation unit generates an image by using reflected wave data in the first mode or in the second mode. The control unit switches the first mode and the second mode. The transmission and reception unit performs a set or a plurality of sets of ultrasound transmission and reception according to a switching operation.

The filtering unit calculates a filter coefficient using the high-frequency decomposed image data and uses the filter coefficient to perform nonlinear anisotropic diffusion filtering on the low-frequency decomposed image data or output data and generate edge information on a signal. The control unit controls a signal level of the high-frequency decomposed image data. The mixing unit acquires ultrasonic image data by hierarchically performing multi-resolution mixing of output data of the filtering unit or output data from a next lower layer and output data of the high-frequency level control unit.

The synthesizer couples the plural volume data after position matching, and couples the respective surface sites specified in the respective volume data, thereby generating synthesized volume data. Based on the synthesized volume data, an image generator generates morphology image data showing the morphology of the subject and surface image data showing the coupled surface sites. A display controller controls a display to display a morphology image based on the morphology image data and a surface image based on the surface image data.

A system control unit displays the data on the plurality of images adjusted to the same velocity range on the display unit.

    Abstract: An amplitude of an oscillating shaft to which a tip tool is attached is changed. An oscillation tool 10 includes a grip-portion housing 11 and a front-side housing 12 which are fitted to each other so as to freely slide on each other. An electric motor 13 is housed in the grip-portion housing 11, and a spindle 18 including an eccentric shaft 17 is fixed at the electric motor 13. A blade 35 and a swing arm 37 are fixed at an oscillating shaft 31 to be housed in the front-side housing 12. The rotary motion of the spindle 18 is converted to the oscillating motion of the oscillating shaft 31 through the swing arm 37. In the case that a driving unit 20 on the electric motor 13 side and an oscillating unit 40 on the swing arm 37 side are distanced from each other so that a center axis C3 of the oscillating shaft 31 and a contact point of a bearing 19 onto arm pieces 39 are distanced from each other (by a distance L1), the oscillating shaft 31 is oscillated at a narrow amplitude X1.
