  • Publication number: 20240101396
Abstract: A method for using a lifting magnet and a lifting magnet. The lifting magnet includes a plurality of electromagnet coils that are each independently ON/OFF-controllable and voltage-controllable, and a magnetic pole that is excited by application of a voltage to the electromagnet coils. An electromagnet coil to be used for lifting steel plates is determined based on a total thickness of the steel plates to be lifted. An amount of passing magnetic flux ?r in the magnetic pole in a case where magnetic flux passes through only the steel plates to be lifted when the electromagnet coil is used is calculated. An application voltage to be applied to the electromagnet coil used for lifting the steel plates is determined based on the amount of passing magnetic flux ?r. The application voltage is applied to the electromagnet coil.

  • Publication number: 20240075824
Abstract: A charge port device includes a charge port provided in a port accommodation recess and a lid for concealing the port accommodation recess. A latch is provided in the port accommodation recess on an opposite side to a lid hinge with respect to the charge port. A slit is formed between a surface of a vehicle body and an outer circumferential edge of the lid while the lid is closed. A lamp is provided at a position in the port accommodation recess between the latch and the slit on an opposite side to the lid hinge with respect to the charge port and the position is not visible from outside while the lid is closed. Formed is a light-guiding reflection path that guides a light emitted from the lamp toward the above-mentioned slit as an indirect light by reflecting the light while the lid is closed.

  • Patent number: 7531312
Abstract: A biological evaluation method for rational and simply evaluating biological harmfulness or usefulness of a great number of natural and artificial chemicals, foods, etc. This method comprises adding a known amount of 2?-deoxyguanosine (dG) to a solution containing a test substance (drug, pesticide, functional food, etc.), optionally applying UV light and/or adding active oxygen generator, then quantifying 8-hydroxy-2?-deoxyguanosine (8OHdG) in the solution, and evaluating the toxicity or usefulness of the test substance according to the 8OhdG content (a higher 8OhdG content indicates a higher harmfulness of the test substance while a lower 8OhdG content indicates a lower harmfulness or an usefulness thereof). The invention also provide an apparatus for advantageously performing said biological evaluation method and an antioxidant preservative solution to be used in this apparatus.
