  • Publication number: 20210408336
Abstract: A nanowire optical device includes: a photonic crystal body having a planar shape and provided on a base part; an optical waveguide by a line defect in which a plurality of defects including a part without grating elements of the photonic crystal body are linearly arrayed; a trench formed in a waveguide direction in the optical waveguide; a nanowire made of a semiconductor and arranged in the trench; an n-type region formed on one end side of the nanowire; a p-type region formed on the other end side of the nanowire; an active region provided to be interposed between the n-type region and the p-type region in the nanowire; a first electrode connected to the n-type region; and a second electrode connected to the p-type region.

  • Publication number: 20190018402
Abstract: An abnormality-monitoring method and a computer program for plant abnormality monitoring with which it is possible to reliably detect a change in the condition of a plant even when the condition changes due to maintenance, etc., and to appropriately update reference data as needed and constantly monitor abnormalities with high accuracy on the basis of the detected change in the condition. To achieve this purpose, the Mahalanobis distance of an aggregate of collected measurement data and reference data is calculated, the respective dispersion values of the reference data in a reference period and the measurement data in the most recent fixed period are calculated and compared per fixed interval for the calculated Mahalanobis distance, and the reference data is updated when the result of the comparison exceeds a criterion serving as a threshold value.

  • Patent number: 5981756
Abstract: Of hydrogen atoms constituting 2-adamantylamino-5-nitropyridine, at least hydrogen atom of N--H part is substituted with deuterium to obtain a deuterated AANP. An organic optical material is made from the deuterated AANP. Content of the deuterated AANP in this case is preferably more than 25%. With this method, an organic nonlinear optical material can be provided for devices having a large wavelength conversion efficiency in wavelength conversion relating to optical communications wavelength region, particularly at and around 1.55 .mu.m wavelength.
