  • Publication number: 20240079492
Abstract: A semiconductor device includes a second deep layer between a first deep layer and first current distribution layer and a base region in an active region and in a part of an inactive region adjacent to the active region. The second deep layer has a second stripe portion including lines connecting to the base region and the first deep layer. The semiconductor device further includes a second current distribution layer between the first current distribution layer and the base region and arranged between the lines of the second stripe portion. The first deep layer has a first stripe portion including a plurality of lines, and each line has an end portion connecting to a frame-shaped portion and an inner portion on an inner side of the end portion. The width of the end portion is equal to or greater than the inner portion.

  • Patent number: 10836802
Abstract: As a calcium indicator protein having an excellent fluorescent characteristic and calcium reactivity, there is provided DNA in which one of a nucleotide sequence derivative of a calmodulin-binding sequence (ckkap sequence) of calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase kinase and a nucleotide sequence encoding a calcium-binding sequence (CaM sequence) of calmodulin is linked to a 5? end of a nucleotide sequence encoding a fluorescent protein, and the other nucleotide sequence is linked to a 3? end of the nucleotide sequence encoding the fluorescent protein. The calcium indicator protein encoded by this DNA, which based on the derivative of the ckkap sequence as a binding domain for the calcium-bound CaM sequence, exhibits a fluorescent characteristic and calcium reactivity superior to those of conventional calcium indicator proteins.

  • Patent number: 7062603
Abstract: An external storage device for storing data comprises judgment means and access processing means. The judgment means determines whether or not a specified data pattern can be used as a replacement to record a data block. Namely, judgment means determines that a data block can be recorded by using a specific data pattern when the data block and the data pattern match. The access processing means stores identification information for identifying the specified data pattern used to record the data block rather than storing contents of the data.

  • Patent number: 7010719
Abstract: An external storage device 110 includes a semiconductor memory 200, a hard disk 210 having an access speed lower than that of the semiconductor memory 200, a judgment part 275 for determining whether or not data can be stored in the semiconductor memory 200, and an access processing part 277 for compressing and storing data into the semiconductor memory 200 after it is determined that the data can be stored in the semiconductor memory 200, and for storing the write data into the hard disk 210 when it is determined that the data cannot be stored in the semiconductor memory 200. The storage capacity of the external storage device 110 is larger than the storage capacity of the semiconductor memory 200.

The judgment means determines whether or not a data block can be recorded by using a specific data pattern. The judgment means determines that a data block can be recorded by using a specific data pattern when the data block and the data pattern are coincident with each other. The access processing means stores identification information for identifying a specific data pattern when recording the data block by using that specific data pattern instead of storing contents of the data block into an external storage device.

  • Patent number: 5928336
Abstract: Provided is a PC card and peripheral device having a non-volatile memory device that can perform erasing and re-writing at a relatively high operational voltage, and an internal circuit that is driven at a relatively low voltage, and is accomplished by a typical PC card that comprises: (a) an EEPROM serving as a non-volatile memory device; (b) a built-in battery having a low voltage output that supports the reading of the EEPROM but does not support erasing and re-writing; (c) a power line for conveying from a host computer system the high voltage required for erasing and re-writing the EEPROM; (d) an MPU that can be driven by a voltage supplied by the built-in battery; (e) an interface circuit that can be driven at a voltage supplied by the built-in battery; and (f) a switching circuit for selecting either the built-in battery or the power line as the power supply for the EEPROM.
