  • Publication number: 20240169833
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to collaborative rulesets for vehicles. A collaborative ruleset for a set of vehicles can be received, the collaborative ruleset defining relative positions each vehicle is required to maintain with respect to other vehicles within the set of vehicles. Sensor data indicating current positions of each vehicle within the set of vehicles while the set of vehicles are operating can be received. A command to display, on an augmented reality (AR) device of a user of a first vehicle within the set of vehicles, AR content for complying with the collaborative ruleset can be issued.

  • Publication number: 20240169081
Abstract: A method for boundary based edge device compliance includes receiving a request to process data and identifying a cluster of edge devices to process the data located within a boundary area. The method includes applying compliance rules to the cluster of edge devices and instructing the cluster of edge devices to perform computations while adhering to the compliance rules associated with the boundary area. In response to determining that a first edge device from the cluster of edge devices is relocating outside of the boundary area, the method includes instructing the first edge device to transfer data to a second edge device from the cluster of edge devices prior to crossing the boundary to adhere to the compliance rules.

  • Publication number: 20240161365
Abstract: Images placed in documents are enhanced based on the context in which the image is used. Context is determined according to document-specific indicators such as nearby text, headings, titles, and tables of content. A generative adversarial network (GAN) modifies the image according to the context to selectively emphasize relevant components of the image, which may include erasing or deleting irrelevant components. Relevant general-purpose images may be retrieved for use in the document and may be selectively enhanced according to usage of the general-purpose image in a given document.

  • Publication number: 20240131798
Abstract: Computer-implemented methods for dynamic sensor printing and deployment. Aspects include receiving, from one or more symptom tracking sensors disposed on an apparatus, data regarding a condition of the apparatus and analyzing the data regarding the condition of the apparatus. Aspects also include determining, based on the analysis, one or more required additional measurements of the apparatus and creating, by a three-dimensional printer, one or more sensors configured to measure the one or more required additional measurements. Aspects further include placing the one or more sensors on the apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20240119541
Abstract: A method is provided for identifying topography in a locality. The topography includes horizontal surfaces and vertical surfaces. Sunlight exposure incident to the identified topography is identified. The intensity of the identified sunlight exposure and variation over time is analysed. Crop types for growing on the topography based on the analysed intensity of sunlight exposure and variation over time are identified.

  • Publication number: 20240103519
Abstract: Provided is a computer-implemented method, system, and computer program product for intelligently assigning robotic edge devices to perform a task using an edge computing ecosystem. A processor may identify a plurality of robotic edge devices in a geographic location. The processor may determine attributes for each robotic edge device of the plurality of robotic edge devices. The processor may identify a task to be performed at the geographic location by the plurality of robotic edge devices. The processor may determine, based on the attributes, a subset of robotic edge devices that are capable of completing the task. The processor may assign the subset of robotic edge devices to complete the task.

  • Publication number: 20240089168
Abstract: Embodiments provide predictive dynamic caching in edge devices when connectivity may be potentially lost. A technique includes registering devices that require a connectivity to a cloud server via a network and predicting a likelihood of a network outage of the connectivity to the network for the devices having been registered. The technique includes determining data to cache for each of the devices by analyzing traffic for each of the devices to the cloud server, at least one piece of the data being currently in use by at least one of the devices. The technique includes responsive to predicting the likelihood of the network outage, caching the data to edge devices, and responsive to the connectivity to the network being restored, removing the data cached on the edge devices.
