  • Patent number: 9448736
Abstract: Provided are an electronic storage module, a method for assigning contacts of an electronic storage module and a method for implementing an assignment. Exemplary modules include chip cards such as SIM cards (Subscriber Identification Modules), in particular but not limited to cards that use six contacts. The electronic storage module has a plurality of contacts, including at least one reset contact and at least one first set of contacts forming a first communication interface between the electronic storage module and an electronic device including the electronic storage module. The set of contacts constitutes at least one second communication interface. The reset contact makes it possible to indicate which one of the first or second communication interfaces the first set of contacts uses at a given time.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 9, 2012
Date of Patent: September 20, 2016
    Assignee: ORANGE
    Inventors: Laurent Coureau, Aude Pichelin

  • Patent number: 8503355
Abstract: A method, a server and a system for managing a session in walkie-talkie (“push-to-talk”) mode between terminals each of which has respective capacities for encoding and decoding voice and/or image signals. The terminals are logged onto the session via a server and a first wireless telecommunications network to which the terminals are connected and a second network to which the server is connected. The server comprises a data encoder/decoder. When a session is established at the request of a terminal, a sender terminal sends data encoded according to an initial type of coding to one or more receiver terminals that are connected via the server.

  • Patent number: 7796559
Abstract: A method for processing quality of service of a signaling data transport channel in a packet transmission network comprising at least one management node (4), wherein, for a data transport channel, the management node (4) receives a quality of service profile associated with said channel, containing a parameter (SI) indicating signaling, detects (E2) whether, in the quality of service profile, the signaling indicating parameter is activated so as to determine whether it is a signaling data transport channel, and in that case, processes the signaling data transport channel as a priority over any other media data transport channel during execution of at least one quality of service processing mechanism applied to the signaling data transport channel.

  • Publication number: 20090176460
Abstract: This PTT (Push-To-Talk) mode telecommunications system linking users of a wireless telephone network includes a management module (26) which can determine the rights of the participants to participate in and talk in a PTT session as a function of the telecommunications service quality level used by each user to participate in the PTT session and as a function of a predefined telecommunications service quality level required to participate in that PTT session.
