Abstract: A technique and algorithm for extracting a representative sample from a large, unrepresentative data set through the application of dynamic weighting and random assignment. The algorithm allows for the simple selection of individuals that, as a group, will closely fit any desired ratio of salient variables. The randomization algorithm allows multiple representative groups to be extracted from the same large, unrepresentative data set.
