Abstract: A system and method for the creation of an atomic internet platform and system is herein presented. Within the atomic internet users, content providers, and event managers may create content or user atoms each of which has a trust history and trust history tail. The atomic internet facilitates direct interaction between atoms of any type and provides curation of information, content, and other data in a trustless environment. Browsing and searching as well as payment and value exchange are facilitated in the atomic internet in a secure fashion based upon an examination of the trust history tail and trust history. The trust history is built over time based upon interactions between atoms and a trust history tail and accumulated trust history transactions are indicative of level of trust based upon the length of the trust history tail and accumulated trust history of transactions.

The security of the transmission of a message from sender to receiver is strengthened if there is no direct transmission between the parties. The system provides for transforming an incoming message into an alphanumeric content object, segmenting or sharding that object, encrypting each shard with a unique encryption algorithm, and storing each shard into an unknown number of network server. A recipient is provided with a message notification that permits the recipient to retrieve and reconstruct the message content with no direct communication between the sender of the message and the recipient of the message.

Most consumer marketing programs which employ a sweepstakes mechanism with prizes depend on game pieces preprinted with codes or words to signify prizewinning status. Furthermore, if such status is determined to be “winning” the holder of the game piece must still physically mail the game piece in for verification before the corresponding prize is awarded. The game pieces themselves are subject to duplication, forgery, manipulation, and other forms of fraud. The number of winners in such programs depends on the number of prizes, the number of game pieces, the flow of the game pieces into distribution, and the number of participants. The method provided herein eliminates the opportunity for fraud associated with game pieces, simplifies the calculation of the number of winnres, and increases the efficiency of determining prizewinning status and awarding prizes.
