  • Patent number: 7370766
Abstract: A filter cloth whose underside comprises substantially parallel, additional yarns 8 that are thicker than the rest of the yarns of the cloth, substantially parallel channels 9 being formed between the yarns, wherein filtered liquid passed through the cloth is allowed to flow in the direction of the surface of a filtering element 10 between the filtering portion of the cloth and the surface of the element. The invention further relates to a filtering module manufactured from the filter cloth of the invention.

  • Patent number: 6658709
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a shrink fabric, and a shrink fabric to be used for filtering. The method is used for manufacturing a shrink fabric (1, 1′) comprising a seam assembly (4) which is substantially diagonal with respect to the lateral direction of the shrink fabric (1, 1′). When arranged in place onto a drum filter, the seam assembly (4) of the shrink fabric (1, 1′) is substantially diagonal with respect to the lateral direction of the drum (2) of the drum filter.

  • Patent number: 5084174
Abstract: A filter bag (1) for a disc-like filter, comprising filter surfaces (2) to be positioned on both sides of a filter element. The filter element is inserted into the filter bag, and the filter bag is heated so that the heated portion shrinks, thus tightening the filter bag around the filter element. The filter bag (1) is so shaped that the filter parts (2) to be positioned on both sides of the filter element are substantially of the same shape and size as the required filter surfaces. An edge part (3) of a material substantially impermeable to liquid and shrinkable at elevated temperature is attached to the edges of the filter parts.
