  • Publication number: 20130299150
Abstract: A heat exchanger comprises: a plurality of tubes for the circulation of a coolant which are arranged as a core bundle of tubes having a width in a longitudinal direction, a depth in a transverse direction, and a height in a vertical direction; a first header and a second header into which the tubes of the core bundle open; and a first partition arranged respectively in the first and second headers. The first partition respectively divides the first header and the second header, at least partially, into a first compartment and a second compartment which are adjacent in the transverse direction. The heat exchanger further comprises at least one second partition dividing the first compartment and the second compartment of the first header into a first chamber, a fourth chamber, and at least one return compartment which is adjacent, in the longitudinal direction, to the first and fourth chambers.

  • Publication number: 20110083468
Abstract: The invention relates to a heat-exchanger for an air-conditioning circuit that includes a first pipe (110) defining a path for a flow of fluid, the first pipe being spirally wound about a so-called exchanger axis (A). According to the invention, the heat exchanger (9) further includes at least one second pipe (120a, 120b) defining a path for a flow of a second fluid, said second pipe being provided against a surface of the first pipe (110)and spirally wound together with said first pipe (110) about said axis (A). The invention can be used in air-conditioning circuits operating with a super-critical coolant, in particular carbon dioxide (CO2).

  • Publication number: 20100186934
Abstract: A heat exchanger (10) includes at least one header box (12, 14) delimiting a first chamber (42) for a first fluid (F1) and a second chamber (44) for a second fluid (F2), as well as a beam of tubes (16) ending into the header box (12, 14) and comprising at least one first tube (18) communicating with the first chamber (42) of the collecting box (12, 14) and at least one second tube (20) communicating with the second chamber (44) of the collecting box, the first tube (18) being coupled with the second tube (20) to constitute a module (22) allowing a heat transfer between the first tube (18) and the second tube (20). The ends (32) of the first tube (18) is off-set with respect to the ends (30) of the first tube (18), so that such ends (30, 32) can be received in an alternate way in insertion holes (34) of the header box (2, 14), said holes (34) being spaced with a constant step (P).

  • Publication number: 20100175849
Abstract: The invention relates to a plate (20) for a heat transfer tube (4) made from a metal sheet comprising a peripheral outer wall (10) and having at least one first cavity (24) and least one second cavity (26) respectively formed in the metal sheet. The first cavity (24) is in contact with the peripheral outer wall (10) and that the second cavity (26) is arranged at a distance from the outer wall (10). The invention also relates a heat transfer tube (4) of a heat exchanger (1) including a pair of such plates (20) and a heat exchanger (1) including a plurality of such tubes (4).
