  • Publication number: 20260145469
Abstract: A method for acquiring the value of a voltage drop of a power supply battery of a sensor of a tire pressure monitoring system. The sensor includes an ultra-high-frequency two-way communicator. The method includes the steps of: acquiring the load voltage of the battery when the sensor transmits data; computing the voltage drop based on the load voltage; and transmitting the voltage drop. Also disclosed is a sensor for a tire pressure monitoring system.

  • Patent number: 12479300
Abstract: A method for protecting the battery of a wheel unit fitted to a wheel of a motor vehicle. The motor vehicle includes a central processing unit and the wheel unit includes at least a first sensor capable of measuring and of supplying an operating parameter of the wheel unit and a battery which supplies the wheel unit with power. The method including that the wheel unit transitions from an operational state to a non-operational state when the operating parameter reaches a predetermined upper threshold, and the wheel unit transitions from the non-operational state to the operational state when the operating parameter reaches a predetermined lower threshold.

  • Patent number: 11383563
Abstract: A method for controlling a trigger of an activation of a function by a control module housed in a wheel unit and communicating, via a communication module, which includes a first clock employing a crystal oscillator and which communicates via UHF radio waves, with outside the wheel unit, requests to activate a function to be performed at a predetermined time being transmitted to the control module. When an activation is required, a first count of time to activation is started in the communication module by the first clock, a request to activate being transmitted from the communication module to the control module which, upon receipt, is reconfigured in order to activate the function at the predetermined time, an end of the count in the communication module being transmitted to the control module, in order for the trigger to occur at the predetermined time.

  • Patent number: 11358420
Abstract: A method for controlling an electronic valve for a tire of a motor vehicle including an electronic assembly of sensors and a bidirectional radiofrequency communication assembly, connected to the electronic assembly of sensors. This method is noteworthy in that: in a parked situation and in the effective absence of a user, the electronic assembly of sensors is kept dormant and the communication assembly is kept on standby, and on the arrival of a user, the electronic assembly of sensors is activated by the communication assembly.
