  • Patent number: 5664743
Abstract: A device for gripping, guiding and moving wheeled-type helicopters, particularly on board ships, platforms and the like, comprising a pair of crossmembers (6) located parallel to longitudinal axis (X--X) of the vessel and capable of moving transversally to such axis, in engagement with corresponding means of transverse guidance (2) integral with the ship's deck (3), each under the action of appropriate means of operation (7,8a, 8'a), independent of one another, and of further means of movement (12, 13) parallel to the longitudinal axis of the vessel, in engagement with corresponding longitudinal means of guidance (1), there being also provided a gripping and lifting arrangement (10,100) integral with each crossmember (6) and capable of moving in relation to the latter in order to grip, lift and guide the helicopter after landing, irrespective of its relative position with respect to deck (3) and its orientation with respect to longitudinal axis (X--X) of the vessel, and to position it in alignment with at lea

  • Patent number: 5634424
Abstract: A modular structure for supporting and guiding tubes slidable in the vertical direction and carrying sensing, reconnaissance and transmission equipment for submarine towers, a frame formed by uprights and walls, which are longitudinal and transverse defining vertical compartments inside which the tubes supporting the equipment are slidable. The frame is secured to only the hull of the submarine via horizontal base elements which are integral with the bottom ends of the uprights and can be secured to corresponding flanges fixed to the hull of the submarine.

  • Patent number: 5351639
Abstract: A positive-action device for bringing about the rotary movement of a hatch, as a result of the traversing stroke of a shaft moving axially within a fixed structure, particularly in submarine turrets, includes an actuating component integral with shaft and moving with the latter in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis of the shaft, and an articulated kinematic mechanism the upper end of which is hinged to hatch with an interposed flexible safety device and the lower end of which is rotationally integral with a regulating component rotating around the axis of a fixed pivot, there being associated with the regulating component a mechanism of bistable type for reliably maintaining the settings corresponding to the open and closed positions of the hatch, and end-of-stroke devices.

  • Patent number: 4548124
Abstract: The invention relates to a hydraulic motor of the type comprising a plurality of cylinder-piston units arranged radially about an eccentric cam made rotatively rigid with a rotating shaft. The cam has a pair of shoes which project axially from opposite sides thereof and engage in guides formed diametrically in a pivotable support and on a rotating shaft, respectively. The shoes engage with such guides to allow for a radial displacement of the cam and provide a rotary connection of the latter to the rotating shaft. The shoes have respective cylindrical cavities formed internally in perpendicular directions to the shaft axis of rotation, cavities which accommodate small pistons whose rods are stationary relatively to the rotating shaft.

  • Patent number: 4223595
Abstract: The device is comprised of an auxiliary annular element concentrically mounted on each piston end facing the spherical surface of the rotor. Each piston end is provided with an annular shoulder bearing against a matching annular shoulder formed on the inner periphery of the circular aperture through which the auxiliary annular element is mounted on the piston end. The same auxiliary annular element is also provided with oppositely disposed lateral flanges, in a position corresponding to the sides of the rotor, each having a respective recess which is open in the axial direction opposite to the corresponding side of the rotor and extending in the circumferential direction in an arc of a circle concentric with the rotor. Coupling rings disposed at the sides of the rotor, concentrically therewith, engage said recesses to hold the piston end in contact with the spherical surface of the rotor.
