  • Publication number: 20230079786
Abstract: A pilates reformer machine has a frame with a longitudinal central extruded spine (2) extending between a first support member (4a, 4b) and a second support member (6a, 6b), a carriage (8) supporting a platform (9) moveable along the spine, at least one retention spring housed within the spine and attached to the carriage, the at least one retention spring being selectively attachable to the frame by buttons (12), the carriage being provided with sides that wrap around sides of the spine and engage with an underneath of the spine, the carriage further including a plurality of wheels receivable within tracks formed within the central spine. A leg exerciser (30) and foot bar (20) may be included in the machine.

  • Publication number: 20220354231
Abstract: A hair styling device comprises a hair brush portion and an air mover portion comprising a heating element and a fan. The hair brush portion comprises a hollow brush head. The hollow brush head comprises bristles and apertures to allow air to exit the brush head in the region of the bristles. The brush head comprises at least one baffle arranged within the hollow brush head and extending radially inwardly from an inner wall thereof so as to peel off air from the periphery of the flow through the hollow brush head and direct it through the apertures.

  • Publication number: 20220275660
Abstract: A shoring support structure (3) comprising an outer tube (2) having a threaded region (22) with opposing longitudinal slots (16) and an inner tube (4) slidable within the outer tube and having a plurality of pairs of transverse holes (14) at spaced apart intervals. The inner tube and outer tubes terminate in a plate (6) and a pin (10) is receivable through the slots of the outer tube and a pair of transverse holes of the inner tube. A collar (8) is mounted on the threaded region and is rotatable to raise and lower the pin within the slots. The collar includes a driven member (30) such as a bevel gear for mating with a driving member (32) such as a pinion connectable to an actuator (38), actuation of the driving member causing rotation of the driven member to effect rotation of the collar (8) to move the pin.

  • Publication number: 20020137219
Abstract: Disclosed is a titration method for determining the concentration of a base developer solution to within ±0.02 mN, which involves performing steps (a) and (b) in any order: (a) weighing to ±0.001%, an amount of a solution of aqueous base developer of known approximate normality; (b) weighing to ±0.001%, an amount of an acid titrant sufficient to neutralize at least 90% of the base developer in the solution of step (a); thereafter performing steps (c)-(e) in the following order: (c) contacting the aqueous base developer solution with the acid titrant to neutralize at least 90% of the base developer in the solution, and leaving from about 1% to about 10% of the original aqueous base developer as residual non-neutralized base developer in the solution; (d) titrating the residual non-neutralized base developer in the solution with the acid titrant to the end point in an inert atmosphere, wherein the temperature of the titrant is maintained at a temperature of about 20-30° C.±0.
