Abstract: An audio headset is disclosed. In examples, the audio headset is linearly and rotationally adjustable about multiple axes to ensure optimal fit over a user's ear and optimal audio quality. The audio headset further includes a microphone for accepting audio from the user. The microphone is also rotationally adjustable about multiple axes to ensure optimal positioning and comfort for the user.

Abstract: A system for automatically reading a response form marked by a user, including the response form containing a structured set of markers and a structured set of response areas, a camera for obtaining a digital image which contains the response form, programming for identifying positions of a majority of the markers within the digital image, programming for using a set of structuring rules in conjunction with the positions of the markers to obtain a structured set of response areas, programming for reading responses located at the response areas, and programming for generating an output of user responses.

Abstract: A system and method for automatically grading and inputting grades to electronic gradebooks includes a digital camera connected to a computer. A document, e.g., a test, can be placed within the view of the digital camera. A grading/data label can be affixed to the document and includes input bubbles or handwritten indicia within designated areas that can be completed to indicate a student identification number, answers to an exam/test/quiz/etc., and/or a grade. The computer includes a program for locating the grading/data label and further locating the completed bubbles and/or handwritten indicia within the grading/data label. Information corresponding to the completed bubbles or handwritten indicia can then be automatically graded, if desired, and input to an electronic gradebook within or available to the computer.

Abstract: A timing device for tracking the length of time a user is absent from a particular location comprises a base member that includes a housing, a timer mounted to the housing, a display connected to the timer, and a timing-key receiver attached to the housing and in communication with the timer and utilized in starting and stopping the timer. Provided is a visually prominent timing-key releasably mountable to the timing-key receiver that comprises a key body and a coupler attached to the key body which releasably mates with the timing-key receiver. The device is commonly employed in tracking how long a student is temporarily absent from a classroom.
