Abstract: A method generating, in real time, a sound transmission class (STC) and/or a sound transmission loss (STL) for a wall comprises generating a graphical user interface (GUI) for selectively receiving a plurality of input wall parameters for the wall; generating a visual representation of the wall based on received input wall parameters; determining an STC and/or STL based on the wall parameters; and outputting a result. Determining the STC and/or STL includes preprocessing the wall parameters to determine standardized model inputs for a prediction model, and generating the STC and/or STL directly or indirectly using the prediction model.
