Publication number: 20250184012Abstract: A disclosed radio frequency (RF) system, such as a cognitive radar, includes a software defined radio (SDR), an adaptive transmit amplifier, and a host computer. The system performs multi-dimensional optimization operations including selecting initial values for two or more configuration parameters, such as load impedance and input power. Disclosed methods iteratively perform image completion operations until a convergence criterion is satisfied. The image completion operations may include measuring a performance of the RF device to obtain a measured performance corresponding to the initial values of the configuration parameters, storing the measured performance as a point on a measured load-pull contour image, performing a load-pull extrapolation to extrapolate, from the configuration parameter values, predicted optimal values for the configuration parameters, and saving the predicted optimal values as the configuration parameter values for a next iteration of the image completion operations.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 9, 2025Publication date: June 5, 2025Applicant: BAYLOR UNIVERSITYInventor: Austin Scott Egbert

Patent number: 12011632Abstract: An adjustable carriage assembly is configured to be mounted on a frame member of a weight rack and includes a moveable carriage with a plurality of rollers that engage the frame member, as well as a connection structure for connection of an articulating implement. A releasable pin is mounted on the carriage proximate to a rear of the carriage and has an arm configured for engagement to move the releasable pin. The releasable pin is moveable by axial translation between a locked position and an unlocked position to selectively engage the frame member to lock the carriage in position or permit movement of the carriage. A removable pin may be removably received through a pin hole in the carriage to extend through the passage in a direction perpendicular to a direction of axial translation of the releasable pin, to engage the frame member to prevent movement of the carriage.Type: GrantFiled: December 1, 2023Date of Patent: June 18, 2024Assignee: Coulter Ventures, LLC.Inventors: Ahmik Jones, James Carmichael, Bill Henniger, Anthony Roberto, Emmanuel Sergakis, Bryan Adams, Austin Scott
