The device further determines, based on the identifier, that the user of the user device is also the user of the client device; determines, based on the identifier and the indicator, that the device transmitted the first advertisement to the client device; selects a second advertisement for the user device based on the request; and transmits the second advertisement to the user device. The first advertisement and the second advertisement advertise a particular item.
