Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods and apparatus where information relating to products and services offered by various providers may be offered for sale to customers via computing devices owned by those customers. Products and services offered to a particular customer may be related to a product previously purchased by that customer or be related to a product that a customer has access to. In certain instances, a product that a customer has access to may include a tag, such as a circuit, a chip, or printed matter that may provide information to an electronic device of a customer. After the customer's device received the information provided by the product tag, other products or services related to the tagged product may be received by the customer device.

Abstract: Methods and systems for voice-based identification of related products/services are provided. Exemplary systems may include a wireless communication-based tag reader that polls for a wireless transmission-based tag and reads information associated with the wireless transmission-based tag and a processor that executes instructions to identify a product/service associated with the wireless transmission-based tag, identify a plurality of products/services stored in a product/service database identified as related to the product/service associated with the wireless transmission-based tag, filter through the plurality of related products/services based on at least one voice-based parameter to identify a set of one or more related products/services, and generate a voice-based utterance based on the identified set of one or more related products/services.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to identifying a product or service in a store and offering to sell products and services that the customer can purchase in that store. Methods and apparatus consistent with the present disclosure allow retail stores to provide real-time information to their customers about products and/or services that may complement another product that a customer is interested in purchasing. A portable electronic device, such as a cell phone, may receive wirelessly transmitted communications from wireless transmitters that are associated with products and services that the customer approaches, touches, or scans.

Abstract: Methods and systems for wireless transmission-based incentives driving social media engagement are provided. An incentive structure may be stored in a database in memory regarding one or more incentives each based on a defined benchmark of social media activity. Information associated with a wireless transmission-based tag may be via a wireless transmission reader. A product/service associated with the information read from the wireless transmission-based tag may be identified. Such identified product/service may further be associated with product/service-specific information stored in a product/service database. A template for a social media communication may be provided based on the product/service-specific information associated with the identified product/service. Such social media communication based on the template may be shared with one or more social networks. Activity related to the social media communication may then be detected as having met the defined benchmark.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses one or more NFC tags embedded in, affixed to, or printed into a delivery label that may be used to track mail. After an NFC shipping tag has been scanned, delivery information relating to shipping a piece of mail may be received and stored in a database, where that shipping information may be associated with the scanned NFC tag. When a shipping label includes two parts, a first part may be a receipt that can be detached and retained by a sender of a piece of mail, and a second part may stays attached to that piece of mail as it is delivered to a destination. A sender preparing to send mail may provide information that allows electronic devices to receive messages as a NFC shipping label is scanned by different NFC scanners at different locations as that mail moves toward a destination.

The present disclosure describes Burn Bandages that may include domes or structures that bridge over a wide range of a burn or wound size. In certain instances these structures may expand in one or more directions as they are adjusted to fit to a particular burn or wound size. Such bridging structures may include airways, openings, or voids that promote air/oxygen flow to the wound as the Burn Bandage sits upon surfaces or pads that contact healthy surrounding tissue while they cover a wound site. The apparatus may be any shape including, yet not limited to, a circle, a rectangle, a square, a hexagon, an octagon, an oval, a cone, a cylinder, have a semi-cylindrical shape, or that have any another geometric shape.
