  • Publication number: 20240120052
Abstract: An example of a wellbeing-improving cloud (WIC) is disclosed. The WIC may comprise a wellbeing server (WS) and a Protocol-DB (PDB). An example of WS is configured to generate one or more protocols for wellbeing treatment and to store the generated protocols in the PDB. Each protocol may define a sequence of actions wherein each action comprises activating a certain sense-generator (SenG) in a certain setting for a certain period of time. In addition, the action may comprise reading the output of one or more sensors that are associated with a user's-wellbeing-improving-system (UWIS). Based on those reading the WS may modify the protocol.

  • Publication number: 20230012037
Abstract: A novel Fine-Particles-Removing Device (FPRD) is disclosed. The FPRD can be used removing fine particles from a flow of gas. Some embodiments of the FPRD can comprise a housing having a peripheral wall, upper and lower extremities wherein the housing comprises at least one inlet opening for receiving the gaseous stream and an inner-ring having a plurality of gaps. The housing can be associated with outlet means for removing of solid contaminants from the housing into a collecting receptacle for collecting the removed solid contaminants from the outlet means. In addition a pressure-manipulating-device (PMD) can be placed between the outlet means and the collecting receptacle.

  • Publication number: 20100139492
Abstract: The invention provides a cyclone unit for the removal of contaminants from flue gases by combination of a gaseous stream with an aqueous stream, comprising a housing defined by a cylindrical peripheral wall, by upper and lower extremities, and by a core element, the housing having a longitudinal axis and being provided with at least one inlet opening for receiving a gaseous stream and a plurality of inlet openings for receiving an aqueous stream thereinto, the cyclone unit further comprising at least one swirling means concentrically positioned and mounted within the housing coaxially with the longitudinal axis so as to provide a first annular space between an inner surface of the housing peripheral wall and the outer facing surfaces of the swirling means and to provide a second inner annular space between inwardly facing surfaces of the swirling means and the core element, the swirling means incorporating a plurality of slit-like elongated openings extending substantially tangentially with respect to the inn

  • Publication number: 20050202375
Abstract: A method and apparatus for detecting the onset of a gravity-induced loss of consciousness (G-LOC) state in a combat pilot wearing a motion-trackable helmet while operating an aircraft, by: storing a reference motion pattern of the helmet for each of a plurality of tasks to be performed by the pilot; tracking in real time the motion pattern of the helmet when worn by the pilot while operating the aircraft; comparing in real time the tracked motion pattern of the helmet with the stored reference motion patterns; and producing a G-LOC state signal when a tracked motion pattern deviates from the stored reference patterns such as to indicate the onset of a G-LOC state.
