  • Patent number: 9285516
Abstract: A method for varying a radius of curvature of a concave mirror includes coupling a concave mirror to a mirror frame, coupling the mirror frame to a vertical slide, coupling the vertical slide to a horizontal slide, coupling the horizontal slide to a fixed support, coupling an end of the mirror frame to an actuator, coupling a first proximity sensor to the mirror frame, coupling a second proximity sensor to the horizontal slide, and coupling a third proximity sensor to the vertical slide. The method also includes translating the mirror frame along the vertical slide and translating the vertical slide along the horizontal slide to facilitate aligning a pole of the concave mirror with a center of an object, and varying the radius of curvature of the concave mirror to magnify an image of an object in the concave mirror for optimum clarity.

  • Patent number: 9027595
Abstract: A method for channeling hot/warm working fluid includes coupling a first fluid supply path in flow communication with an inlet of a first transparent fluid reservoir to a fluid inlet valve, coupling an outlet of the first transparent fluid reservoir in flow communication to a fluid outlet supply path, coupling a second fluid reservoir in flow communication with the first transparent fluid reservoir, and coupling a second fluid supply path in flow communication with an outlet of the second fluid reservoir to a fluid outlet valve. The method also includes directing working fluid of a temperature that is above a minimum threshold temperature from the fluid inlet valve to the fluid outlet supply path through the first transparent fluid reservoir, and directing working fluid of a temperature that is below the minimum threshold temperature from the first transparent fluid reservoir to the fluid outlet valve through the second fluid reservoir.

  • Patent number: 8519834
Abstract: A method for alerting a user of a received electronic signal includes coupling an electronic receiver within a wrist wound vibrating device, coupling a vibrating unit to the electronic receiver, and coupling a display panel to the electronic receiver. The method also includes receiving the electronic signal in the electronic receiver from a cell phone transmitter, actuating the vibrating unit in response to the received electronic signal to alert the user of the electronic signal, and displaying a message in the display panel of the wrist wound vibrating device to notify the user of the electronic signal.
