Abstract: The invention is an effective solution to the medical non-compliance problem. Reducing patients' non-compliance offers them better health, longer life expectancy, and better quality of life. The solution offers these great benefits at a limited cost and can be applied to many diseases. The invention uses a dispensing scheme to help patients keep track of their medicine usage through a series of light-emitting diode (LED) alarm indicator signals and audio alarm indicator signals. If the patient is not following the treatment that was prescribed to him or her, the system has the ability to send patient compliance information over the telephone to a disease management system.
