In use, category score is determined for each of a plurality of categories of events, the category score based on a time period since an occurrence of at least one of the events. Further, at least one of the categories is selected based on the category score, for use in providing content associated with the selected at least one category.

Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product are provided for presenting a non-competing advertisement within content. In use, content is identified. Further, an advertisement is selected based on an automatic determination that the advertisement is non-competing with the content. Still yet, the advertisement is presented in association with the content.

Abstract: A system for indoor commercial facilities includes a multiplicity of access points to provide connectivity to mobile communications devices in the facility, a tracking module to determine locations for the devices based on connection data provided by the access points as the devices move through the facility, and an I/O module to receive the connectivity data and to transmit a map of a current location to the devices, where the map is relative to a location as determined by the tracking module. A mobile communications device includes a Wi-Fi transceiver to communicate with a multiplicity of Wi-Fi access points arrayed in a facility, where connection data between the transceiver and the access points is suitable for determining a current location of the device in the facility, and a map display to display a map of at least a part of the facility relative to the current location.

Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product are provided for sending information in response to a receipt of an alphanumeric code presented with an advertisement. In operation, an advertisement is presented with at least one alphanumeric code in an offline media. Additionally, the alphanumeric code is received by an advertiser from a device of a user. Further, additional information is sent in response to the receipt of the alphanumeric code.

Abstract: A reverse auction system, method and computer program product are provided. A tender is received from a buyer over a network. Such tender includes information relating to a desired good or service. A plurality of suppliers is identified based on the information, and the tender is anonymously forwarded to the identified suppliers over the network. In use, a plurality of bids is received in response to the tender from a plurality of the suppliers over the network, and such bids are consolidated. Further, the consolidated bids are forwarded to the buyer over the network.
