Abstract: Systems and methods for crowed prediction and attendance forecasting are described. In some embodiments, a method may include generating an initial attendance forecast for a venue (e.g., a retail store, a restaurant, a bar, a nightclub, a museum, a theater, a stadium, an airport, a hotel, a park, etc.) using a historical attendance prediction model and historical data (e.g., historical point-of-sale data, weather data, geo-position data, satellite image data, or traffic data, etc.). The method may also include creating a dynamic attendance prediction model for the venue based, at least in part, upon the initial attendance forecast and real-time data (e.g., real-time point-of-sale data, utility usage data, employee attendance data, audio or visual equipment usage data, number of detected internet-enabled devices, reservation data, arrivals and departures data, social network data, etc.).
