  • Publication number: 20200018228
Abstract: A method and a Rotary Combustion Engine (RCE) suitable for deactivation of at least one rotor out of a plurality of rotors. The RCE includes at least a first shaft portion and a second shaft portion which are disposed in straight coextensive longitudinal axial alignment. Each shaft portion may support at least one rotor. The at least first shaft portion and second shaft portion are separated by a gap. A shaft coupling mechanism is operable to bridge the gap and couple the first shaft portion in engagement with the second shaft portion for rotation together. The shaft coupling mechanism is also operable to disengage the first shaft portion and the second shaft portion, and thereby deactivate the rotation of at least one rotor.

  • Patent number: 10212481
Abstract: A method of displaying a home menu interface on a content viewing device, such as a television, is described. The interface is comprised of two components: a launcher and an accelerator. Each of these components include multiple tiles. One type of launcher tile represents a content source. The user can select this tile and enable a direct link to the content source application. Only after selecting the tile, does the content source application open. An accelerator is associated with a specific content source. An accelerator tile displays content previews or enables easy playback of content provided by the content source. The user can select an accelerator tile and enable a deep link to the content, taking the user straight to the content, bypassing a hierarchy of menu options.

  • Patent number: 6606657
Abstract: A system and method is disclosed for gathering and disseminating detailed information regarding web site visitation. A server system is connected to the Internet and receives, processes and supplies detailed information from subscribed users. In response to user queries, the server system provides detailed information regarding the sites that have been visited, the duration and times of such visits, the most popular web sites, the most popular jump sites from a particular web page, etc. Such information is gathered and transmitted to subscribers who have downloaded a client-side reporting and communicating software application that is compatible with the server system. In addition, since users submit profile information about themselves, much demographic information is known about the users. Demographic information as to the popularity of visited web sites may then be easily determined, stored and updated by the server system.
